Do not recommend
For how much this place costs, I was utterly disappointed. The bathroom smelled like urine, was old, not updated and the shower cold faucet was broken. The room itself was okay but every part of this hotel except the lobby needed updates. The breakfast buffet was also gross- the food looked old and stale. I would never stay here again. The surrounding area also smelled of sewage and feces so going for a walk was not enjoyable.

The main reason to recommend this place its the location which was adjacent to all the historical and touristic places alongside with super friendly and helpful staff. They even called us a guy to exchange our dollars in the hotel with a great rate and where helpful in every aspect totally recommended

The hotel is situated in a great location, this is the greatest appeal of staying at the property. The hotel is in need of modernisation including the rooms as feels a little outdated. Otherwise a wonderful stay.

Staff were exceptional. Keen to please and help you make the most of your stay. Great location we were upgraded and had a fabulous room with a lounge all over looking the sea. Hotel was very nice and the roof terrace and pool were lovely. Would recommend others to stay here

We were initially given a room on the top floor that had a side access door .. although it was locked I didn't feel good about it and asked for a change in room. The window pane of that room was also cracked.. They then put me to a different room one level down but it was not a non-smoking room but I could live with that than stay in a room that had side access door. The place was safe, we were screened by security staff everytime we entered the hotel which was good.

They really need to replenish new towels and provide basic amenities in the washrooms. The towels provided were threadbare and instead of being white, they were stained and clearly had outlasted their usage. Toilet paper was in short supply and had to be requested on several occasions. Our second stay - the bathroom smelled awfully stale Housekeeping was a struggle to contend with Phone service locally was a disaster - could not access a local call and was informed that I would receive a call back - no one called

We had great service and an enjoyable experience during our stay. The only complaint the entire stay is that dinner at the restaurant took much longer than expected. Otherwise, the staff was very accommodating and helpful and the stay was comfortable.

Hotel Marine Plaza is such a little gem. This was my second time staying here, as a gift to myself. I love the tranquil relaxing sea view and the pretty art deco design of the interiors, including the incredible glass elevators. Breakfast is always impeccable, with views of the bay. Priyal was a great server who was kind enough to prepare hot water with honey for me when I told him that I had a cold. This is going above and beyond! The only thing that's missing compared to the last time I stayed there was the daily newspaper and 4pm snacks that used to be delivered to the room. I wish they would bring those back.

Location was very good. Breakfast varieties mostly for Indians so they should consider the International customers as well. There was no fresh fruit juice, I am paying 170 Usd per night for canned juice? Also my main issue was the bed they have provided. I booked a single room but they gave me a single bed, why can't get a King size bed? 170 Usd for small bed, this is terrible, who likes to sleep in a single bed?

This is an excellent place to stay - I always think that it is the people that work at a place that make it good - this is a prime example - the people that work here are professional, polite and friendly...the best of the best - this is not just the front of the house, such as the receptionist, but simply everyone that I meet here! Very pleasant hotel to stay in. Rooms are very quiet, beds extremely comfortable, service generally excellent, location very convenient. Service in the restaurant for lunch had some room for improvement sadly but otherwise a very enjoyable trip.

Great Location... An Excellent Hotel
Mumbai as a city does not allow you to build Hotel loyalties. One is always guided by where your work is. If your work is in south Mumbai, then this hotel is a great place to be. Its value for money, the staff is helpful, the rooms are large, the food is well-done. The most noteworthy is the location... facing the Arabian sea, one can enjoy late evening/ morning walks on the marine drive... very few hotels in Mumbai can give this experience. Overall, a wonderful experience. One Hotel to go back to...
