Cons: Should be able to stay for half day, meaning 12 hours; not check out at 7:00 pm, even if you have only been there 4 hours.
We had a great experience; other than having to pay for 1/2 day, and be allowed to stay only 4 hours, as check-out is 7:00 pm....we checked in at 3:00 pm and were hoping to have the room until 11:00 pm

Hotel facilities

Pros: Staff was excellent
Cons: Let the ppl who want to book this hotel know that facilities may not be available so that they can make informed decision about booking the room
Location: Location was fine
Hotel bar was booked for a private party and was unavailable for the hotel guests. I booked this hotel mainly because of the website talked about the bar. It is completely unacceptable to me that hotel of that caliber compromises the comfort of it's guests for extra money they can make by renting the facility to outsiders. Will never use this hotel again and will make sure to tell all my contacts to do the same.

poor view from the hotel

Pros: only the name
Cons: Several areas as informed above. Car they cannot call on mike if the driver has not registered with them.
Very bad view. I was upsold a room with sea view, but when you look out you see hutments which is very demoralising in the morning. IN house dining service very poor. We were first served the wrong meal , which was rectified but when I went settle my bill I was charged for 2 dinners, although one was taken back. They corrected the bill after I protested. Amenity service in room very poor, ball one not replaced, dental kit only one there for 2 people staying !! Only 2 water bottles in the room , whereas Taj offers as many wanted.

Nice hotel - slightly outside of main tourist area

This was my first time in India. We all enjoyed the hotel and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing was that it is not in the main tourist area but on the other hand the hotel is new and everything works.

Amazing hotel and services.

Pros: great water pressure in room showers, spa services, security for guests.
Cons: Room guests should not be getting checked as they walk in to the hotel. a system by showing room card etc to avoid this should be in place.
The rooms are great, comfortable, great view of the sea and sea-link bridge. The spa is absolutely refreshing and the jacuzzi/steam room and spa area are fantastic to unwind after a long week or work. Will definitely return and continue to be pampered at what is a great hotel.
