“A comfortable stay in Pompei.Italy”
We stayed for 6 nights from 9th to 14th October 2011.We had rooms next to the roof garden ! The rooms were tastefully furnished.The bathroom was fully tiled with a jacuzzi bath,shower attatchment.Both bedroom and bathroom was spotlessly clean. I had a magnificent view of the Mount Vesuvius and the city of Pompei from my window.The bed was comfortable with good reading lamps on either side. The staff,Rita,Lydia and others were very helpful,friendly and spoke good English.The location was good,next to train stations,city centre,the great Piazza with magnificent Cathedral and ten minute walk to the Ampitheatre gate of the Pompei ruins ! Obviously a bit noisy with Cathedral bells starting at 7 am, ,noise of passing trains,cars,fireworks, and the hotel lift going up and down late into the night.However this didn't bother me too much. What we thought could be improved was the breakfast ! The only hot item on offer was tea or coffee.Cooked breakfast was not on the menu. On asking one could get soft boiled eggs but no hot toasts.The only toasts were the rusk type in sealed packets ! At least 6 types of cakes,croissants,cereals,slices of ham,cheese,salami,bread rolls were on offer. Fresh fruits were mostly Pomegranate, a few apples and dry-looking oranges. I think a hot breakfast should be on offer as it makes a good start to the day,especially as most of us were out sightseeing/walking all day ! The hotel served lunch & dinner.We had lunch one day,it was simple but good.
“excellent customer service”
I was unfortunate to be taken ill during my stay in Italy, and my wife and I found all the hotel staff, without exception, to be genuinely caring and helpful. The willingness of the staff to be helpful easily made up for the rather thin dinner menu. Despite my illness, my experience there was of warmth and friendliness. It is also extremely convenient for the Circumvesuviana railway, which makes travel around the coast and to Napoli very easy. The excavations of Pompeii are also only a few minutes walk away. It is definitely a hotel to return to.
“Fine hotel for short stay in Pompeii”
Clean, good service, right across the street from the train station, about a half mile walk to historical area, good gelato only a few hundred meters away.
“not impressed”
For a 4 star hotel, this was not what we expected. There were wood floors in the room, & the person above us must have been walking around in heels & pushing around a chair for hours, & It was very loud & made it difficult to sleep. The breakfast was very basic & not very good. I would not choose to stay here again.
“The Perfect Hotel for being a tourist but not wanting to be a tourist”
This hotel is located across the street from the metro so makes it very easy to access - the family who runs this hotel and their staff are wonderful, speak english and very helpful, this hotel is located right next to the Pompeii Cathedral and therefore a 2 minute walk to the ruins yet you do not feel like you are in a tourist spot - we went for business and I did not believe them when they told me we could walk to the ruins because I did not feel as though I was in a tourist like place, but less than minutes and we were there. FYI - the beds are VERY FIRM, which was fine for me but not so much for my parents, also they have an elevator which is hard to find in Europe and was great for my parents.
“Great Location”
Professional staff,Multi-Lingual,room was charming with a great view of the street from the balcony. Bell boy ? very helpful and pleasant.Breakfast very nice.across the street from the metro station and a short walk from the entrance to Ancient Pompei ruins.Small town nice contrast from the hustle and bustle of Rome.
“Nice palce to stay...”
My flight was cancelled so I drove from Rome (3 hours) to Pompeii, arriving at almost midnight. The staff were waiting, and wonderful-- a place to park right in front of the hotel and a comfortable room all ready for me. They were very helpful, clean room (not luxurious, but comfortable), breakfast fine, not fancy, woken up by the cathedral bells. Right next to the station to go to the Naples museum and a pleasant walk to the ruins of Pompeii.

“Durchschnittliches Hotel mit kleinen Schwächen”
Grundsätzlich sind wir mit dem Hotel und dem dort vorgefundenen Zimmer zufrieden. Sowohl am Service als auch an der Sauberkeit gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Das Hotel liegt verkehrsgünstig direkt am Bahnhof der Vesuviana, trotzdem hält sich der Innenstadtlärm in problemlos akzeptablen Grenzen. Die vagen Formulierung beinhalten zweifellos einige "aber". Wir buchten eine Suite. Dafür erhielten wir ein etwa 15 Quadratmeter großes Zimmer im dritten Stock mit Vesuvblick und einem separaten etwa 7 Quadratmeter großem Badezimmer. Dort befanden sich keinerlei Gelegenheiten zum Aufhängen der Handtücher trotz einer großen freien - und sehr schön gefliesten - Wand. Das Ganze war ein schönes Zimmer, unter einer Suite verstehen wir allerdings etwas Anderes. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis für dieses Zimmer war eher unterdurchschnittlich, allerdings wohl der Normalfall für Pompeji. Trotz unserer relativ guten Beurteilung für Hotel und Zimmer würde ich keine Weiterempfehlung aussprechen. Es gibt nichts Hervorhebenswertes.
