I loved this hotel!! It was amazing and could not have asked for anything more! The staff (mike) was so nice!! Recomendations for dinner were great!! I am a crazy about the cleanliness of a hotel, I checked the shower the toilet the sink the bed the closet and everything was clean! Breakfast in the morning was unexpected!! I only thought there was going to be bagels and muffins but mike cooked us a full breakfast before we left! Last thing we looked up to see how far mt. Snow was from here it said about 2 miles, well you can see the mountain from the hotel it is right out the back driveway. If you want to stay at a place where you feel like you are at home, this hotel is it!!

Second time we stayed here. Love the atmosphere. Exactly what you would expect from a building dating back to 1846--uneven floors, mismatched furniture, flowered wallpaper, etc. my onlu complaint is that the bathrooms/showers are tiny!

Stayed 2 nights to visit our friends in the area. We felt like favorite cousins of the innkeepers, Scott and Ariane. The Inn has incredible charm and easy going warmth. dinner was divine and breakfasts are easy and elegant and just the right amount of food. We had a lovely time with the staff and other guests. We will be returning.

We stayed at this ski resort in the off season and due to emptiness they gave us a pretty nice upgrade for free. Everything about the place was clean and the staff was friendly. The resort itself was a nice place to stay if you want to get away for a few days with food and activities nearby. We really enjoyed our stay and I would recommend checking it out.
The condo was wonderful. It looked into the woods. It was quiet and roomy. There was a dishwasher, washer and dryer, fireplace with free unlimited wood available, and a steam bath capability. Check-in personnel were friendly and cheerful in spite of the blizzard occurring outside. Checkout was unremarkable. Thanksgiving dinner at Table 43 was less than satisfactory. Our meals were cold. The waiter was very friendly, but inexperienced. About a mile away is the resort's Market Square. The ski lift is located there along with many shops and restaurants. The maid service was minimal, usually done within 5 minutes. Their arrival was between 8:30 - 9:00 am. Since they had to drive to the condo, we didn't feel that we should ask them to come back at a later hour.
Staff was amazing. Very small staff for a very small lodge that handle all your needs with ease. Vince the lodge manager ( if that's the proper title) was very friendly and always helpful. This lodge is dated so it's not the Ritz Carlton. But then again you don't have to deal with the stuffy crowd that goes along with the Ritz. All the patrons seemed to be return customers that return quite frequently...like one big happy family. Rooms were very clean and the chef was outstanding for such a small establishment. The chef goes by Lawrence but looks to me like a Larry. Great guy and makes homemade pasta dishes on Thursdays and one heck of a Key lime pie. Actually all of the desserts were amazing. My two teenagers both had the pumpkin pie and my buddie had the chocolate tort which was outstanding. Everything was fresh and much seemed to be locally grown (hence the need to devour nice size Angus burger). I booked this as a quick and cheap ski vacation before the holidays. My boys and I and two friends came to ski Stratton, which is 15 to 20 minutes away, to learn that there is an old school mountain ( Magic) right out the front door of the lodge. Too bad we had already pre-bought our 3 day Stratton passes on-line. Next time we will ski Magic for at least a day. This place is a real keeper.
