“Great value”

This is one of the best express-quality motels that I have stayed in. Large rooms, friendly staff, and very clean.

“EXACTLY what you PAY for!! Not a stitch more of QAULITY GIVEN!”

Well, to start, when you enter your room, the strong stench of a masculine cologne overtakes you. Don't know if all rooms smell this way but #113 sure did. The lighting didn't work everywhere it was supposed to and most appliances you had to plug in yourself ( like the refrigerator and alarm clock). The comforters weren't very clean and the entire room had a shabby motel feel....so for the low price per night....you get what you get. The continental breakfast was actually pretty ok. Room only offered HBO channels and not more than about 30 options all together. Was ok for a quick get away from stress but, you may want to upgrade for something more refreshing and cleaner. Also, due to my stay being 2 nights i had to REQUEST for housekeeping to clean my room while i was gone and they did a poor job....didn't vaccuum up my 2 yr olds crumbs and half made the beds :(. All in all, a not so pleasing hotel.

“Definitely will not come back”

Bellmawr needs to clean up their city. Possibility go "GREEN",...recycle bottles, cans, plastic. Spouse and I walk around Bellmawr neighborhood and you see garbages all over the places. It's depressing & very dirty! Arrived at the Howard Johnson and the building is very old. It's needs maintenance. The room was very dirty. We came back & we noticed our room was not properly cleaned. Very disappointed! And, the air con is very noisy. Definitely will not be back!

“Great for the price; however.......”

It offered a beautiful view of the ocean so no problem there. And, for the price we paid it was a bargain; however, the hotel shows signs of slack maintenance (light bulbs burned out, carpet worn, old-style TV, toilet didn't flush as it should, etc. but overall it was certainly worth the cost.

“A clean place to stay”

The room was clean, the staff was really friendly and accomidating.

“Average”

Stayed there for 5 nights. Good location, friendly employees, room smelled nice, there were cigarette burns in one of the comforters. Breakfast was bagels, toast, juice, coffee and mini-doughnuts. after coming back from running errands, a book that I have bought was missing. (big spanish book you can't just misplace); I talked to the front desk person about it but I did not get a satisfying answer.

“A nice hotel”

We booked for 2 night but because of getting rearended on our way there we only stayed one night. The front desk clerk had no issue checking us in over the phone. The room was clean and everything worked great. We would definitely stay there again and the price was just amazing.

“Right price.”

This hotel was perfect for what we needed. We were visiting Philly for the weekend so this was cheap and convenient. Just a 20 minute drive over. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. Breakfast wasn't half bad in the morning either. Would stay there again if in the area.
