We foud the pension straight away by following the signs from Mostar outskirts.
We were greeted by the most charming host you could wish for who went out of his way to make us feel welcome. They provided us with free ice cream and there was a small communal kitchen with free tea and coffe making facilities and a cooking ring and saucepans/crockery for basic cooking. The location is ideal and very central for sightseeing.
We stayed two nights in the Pansion and it exceeded our expectations. We have traveled to many, many countries and Pensions and this was one of the tops for the owners and location. There are plenty of signs, but it's still a little tough to actually find only because the road is amazingly different. You are actually driving through cafes and on the old cobblestones. It's a tight fit, but worth it. The owners are some of the nicest people I've met and went above and beyond all expectations. We were traveling with a 3 year old and a 3 month old. We wrote that info on the reservation, and they already had a pack-n-play setup without us even requesting it.
The location is as described, maybe 50-100 meters from the crooked bridge and not much longer to the old bridge. The rooms were big, clean and well kept. The kitchen was a nice touch as well with free wi-fi and parking. I would highly recommend!

The staff was so friendly and helpful. They really make you feel welcome and they seem like genuinely nice people. The motel is right near the old town (30 second walk) but the rooms are very quiet. The breakfast is very good too and has good options. Our room was big and and adequate. Nothing fancy but we didn't need that. There was some confusion with the cab on the morning we left and we really, really hope the taxi company is not mad at the woman at the hotel who booked the cab because it was not her fault. She was so helpful.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Pansion Rose. It was fully booked the first night we were there but Asima still made sure my 2 daughters and I were comfortably settled into our huge room before dealing with others. She gave us a map and recommended a place to eat. She made sure we had plenty to do while there. A warm omelette for breakfast was just the ticket to start off the day. We opted to have a tour with them on our last day and then her husband and she drove us back to Omis, Croatia instead of having to take the 4 hour bus ride back! It was a lovely day and much appreciated. Thank you Asima and Richard! Staying here is a must!

Our room had a wonderful balcony view over Mostar. The staff were very friendly and helpful, carrying our suit cases up the stairs as there is no lift. They have created a lovely atmosphere in the hotel. Breakfast was good. A good choice and the hotel will enhance your stay in Mostar.

We are arrived at Villa Anri from a 5 star hotel near Split but immediately on arrival at Anri felt the service was much more 5 star here. The people who worked at Anri were so welcoming and offered us drinks and a snack when we arrived. All their advice on where to eat and travel in Mostar and beyond was excellent. (At Plitvice Lakes we had a dinner referral that was very ordinary- must be friends!)
Villa Anri is very close to the old town- just a couple of blocks and the view from our room on the third floor was beautiful.
Mostar was one of our favourite places during our travels through Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Montenegro.
There is no lift and our room was on the third floor. No problem though as we just bought up enough for a couple of days and also the staff did offer to carry our bags.
