What a treasure!

This is a most delightful inn tucked away off the main road in a peaceful magical garden near the sea. We loved our stay here! The staff is helpful and personable. The bedding is comfortable and luxurious. The artwork and decorations are fantastic. The robes, lotions and soaps are rich and exquisite. The back yard has gorgeous gardens with colorful flowers and sweet birds that add to the tranquility. The walking/running paths run along the ocean and the views along the way are spectacular, usually resulting in seal sightings on the beaches. And last but not least the breakfasts are fabulous !!! I cannot say enough about how wonderful this inn is and would highly recommend it!

B & B at Moss Beach

Posted 31-Jul-2014
Cons: Just a minor concern. The grout on a small portion of the wall for the shower area needed a little more cleaning.
We enjoyed our stay at Seal Cove Inn. The facility was clean and very close to the beach where you can watch Seals sun bathe or swim close to the shore. The surrounding was very relaxing. The garden around the building was beautiful. The staff was very friendly and accommodating (special mention goes to Christine who was very nice). Room was clean and comfortable.

Wonderful! Can't wait to return.

Pros: The rooms were simple and elegant and very clean! Also, the staff provided wine and snacks from 5-6:30pm every night. What a treat?!
Cons: I can't think of anything.
Location: The PCH (Pacific Coast Highway) is a beautiful drive whether you drive for 2 hours or 20 minutes.
Everything was absolutely perfect. The staff was excellent, the breakfast just lovely, and the rooms were pure perfection. My fiance and I were visiting from out of town and this was so lovely. We're looking forward to returning!

Beautiful place to relax and unwind

I found this little gem during an impromptu visit to the bay area. It's my new favorite place to relax, very private and romantic.

Wonderful Intimate Inn

Posted 24-May-2014
Seal Cove Inn is a lovely, romantic small inn on the coast near Half Moon Bay. It's a short walk to the beach and through a coastal reserve. Our room was large and well appointed. The breakfast included was anything but ordinary. There are plenty of excellent restaurants in the area. We ate at a spectacular Peruvian restaurant a couple of miles up the road.

Beautiful inn near hiking and The Distillery

Posted 22-Mar-2014
Pros: Grounds Cozy room Excellent breakfast
Cons: Price
Location: Moss Beach Distillery James Fitzgerald Marine Reserve
Seal Cove is a lovely small inn right next to a nature preserve and walking trails. It was beautifully appointed and breakfast was fresh, everything home-made, and quite exceptional. It is also walking distance to Moss Beach Distillery so it was perfect for a weekend getaway on the coast. My only criticism is that it's pretty pricey for the area.

Very nice place

Posted 25-Feb-2014
Pros: The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful. The location is wonderful for a romantic getaway.
Cons: The only recommendation I would make would be to have a loveseat by the fireplace in the room instead of the single chair.
Location: Lots of things to do. Great seafood restaurants nearby and a beautiful nature preserve with excellent walking paths adjacent to the hotel property.
We checked in on a Friday evening for a romantic weekend getaway for her birthday on Sunday. It was great.

good stay

Posted 21-Nov-2013
Pros: Breakfast, wine tasting and snack The environment, including garden and common area Check out time at noon
Cons: bathroom should be renovated
Location: Hiking, cycling, seal watching at the bluffs near the inn. Don't miss James V. Fitzgerald Marine Reserve.
Everything is good, except the bathroom is a bit old, and not as clean as other part of the inn. It should be renovated. But it is still recommended.
