Cozy getaway

Posted 24-Oct-2014
A beautiful inn in a beautiful location. You can walk to the beach and the Moss Beach Distillery (closed, alas, when I arrived at 8:00 pm). Breakfast is included, and was good but a little eccentric, consisting as it did of three all-starch courses: a raspberry pastry, followed by crepes, followed by a croissant. Still, overall, a good place to stay with friendly, helpful staff.

We stayed two nights with another couple and had a wonderful time. The Inn is amazing and the location is beautiful. The walks to the ocean will be remembered forever.

Warm, accomodating, totally recommended!

Seal Cove Inn went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I got exactly what we wanted on our short vacation. Breakfast was delicious, staff was friendly and helpful, and when there was a misunderstanding with our room, the staff worked to make sure we were 100% satisfied and comfortable. I fully recommend Seal Cove Inn - it's worth every last cent!

A Must-Visit Stop in Moss Beach

Posted 18-Aug-2014 on Hotels.com
Had an amazing experience overall. Felt much more like a nice home vs a typical hotel. The room was large, clean, and incredibly comfortable. California King bed with amazing soft sheets. In the middle of a beautiful forest just steps from the cliffs of the Pacific Ocean. Absolutely beautiful. 3 course breakfast in the morning was delicious. I proposed to my fiancé earlier in the day, so this was a perfect place to spend our first night being engaged. Would definitely recommend.

One of the most refreshing hotel stays ever

Posted 13-Aug-2014 on Hotels.com
This is one of the cutest hotels I've ever seen, very quaint, but with most luxury amenities you could imagine. And all of those amenities come at no extra charge, whether it's the made-to-order breakfast, wi-fi, bicycles to explore the area, or even the refrigerators with free sodas and waters on each floor. The rooms were also top notch, with some of the best bedding I've ever used. I'll definitely be returning!

What a treasure!

This is a most delightful inn tucked away off the main road in a peaceful magical garden near the sea. We loved our stay here! The staff is helpful and personable. The bedding is comfortable and luxurious. The artwork and decorations are fantastic. The robes, lotions and soaps are rich and exquisite. The back yard has gorgeous gardens with colorful flowers and sweet birds that add to the tranquility. The walking/running paths run along the ocean and the views along the way are spectacular, usually resulting in seal sightings on the beaches. And last but not least the breakfasts are fabulous !!! I cannot say enough about how wonderful this inn is and would highly recommend it!

Clean, Quiet Adult Get Away

We were very impressed with the Seal Cove Inn. It is set back in an area of solitude surrounded by beautiful English gardens. Very quiet. You can hike down to the beach or stay on the grounds and enjoy a mimosa or wine in the gardens. Moss Beach is only about 20 miles from San Francisco. We attended a Giants game and were back at the B & B in less than one half hour. A much better choice than the expensive, noisy hotels in The City. The breakfast selections were very interesting and tasty. No elevator for second floor rooms. Each floor had a beverage rerigerator with soft drinks and water available at no charge.

B & B at Moss Beach

Posted 31-Jul-2014
Cons: Just a minor concern. The grout on a small portion of the wall for the shower area needed a little more cleaning.
We enjoyed our stay at Seal Cove Inn. The facility was clean and very close to the beach where you can watch Seals sun bathe or swim close to the shore. The surrounding was very relaxing. The garden around the building was beautiful. The staff was very friendly and accommodating (special mention goes to Christine who was very nice). Room was clean and comfortable.
