“A quiet haven from the city, and a welcome break on a journey”

The hotel was well-placed beside a park, and had a lovely, restful ambience. Our room was on the sunny side, a little small so a bit stuffy at night. . The tranquil situation was ideal for us after a long journey. It had plenty of activities on offer, but we had no time to use them. You wouldn't really want to walk onto the city from here, but there is an easy and frequent bus nearby I would certainly recommend it for couples of all ages, also families due to its situation..

“Life in the park”

EXcellant location,easy to find.Situated in a public part so great for gentle walks.5 mins drive to centre of Trier or can use good bus service.Our bedrooms were clean but very basic & in need of an update but the public spaces are first class. Very helpful staff.The food is excellant & you have choice of formal restaurant or more informal seating areas most with a view of the park.One word of warninmg it is a popular wedding hotel so if you are unlucky you may get noisy guests in the early hours of the morning disturbing your sleep

“Decent hotel”

The hotel was nice, especially the dining and entry. The park around the hotel was nice as well. The service was excellent. The room was a disappointment because the furniture was sparse and the wood was damaged and it was overall clean but not in very good condition. That's what you get for the "basic" room I guess. The breakfast was outstanding, the best I've ever had at a hotel.

“Beautiful park location”

This hotel sits adjacent to a large park. This creates beautiful views from many of the rooms as well as from the restaurant (outside eating on the deck is also available). The rooms are nice sized and very clean. The staff were very nice. The breakfast consisted of a large buffet; something of a blend between the typical European breakfast with croissants, wholegrain cereal, etc. and an American style with eggs and bacon.

Das Hotel hat uns sehr gut gefallen.Das Personal war sehr nett , zuvorkomment und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber. Das Frühstück gut, das Restaurant hervorragend. Sehr zu empfehlen !!!!!!!!

“Hotel moyen pour les chambre en tarif eco”

Je trouve que pour un hôtel 4* l'accueil, n'était pas à la hauteur, pas de présentation des services de l'hôtel à notre arrivé. En plus la chambre était en sous sol (point positif, la chambre était refaite à neuf) avec une fenêtre avec vue sur le parking, avec comme horizon des plaques d'immatriculation. Pour les voyageurs en visite il faut savoir que l'hôtel est entre 20 et 30 minutes de marche de le PORTA NEGRA. Le petit déjeuner était quant à lui très bien.

“Hotel Nells Park, een aanrader”

Recentelijk 3 nachten verbleven in dit hotel. Zeer goed bevallen, uitstekende service en bediening, prachtig gelegen aan mooi park ( zorg voor kamer aan park zijde). Heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt, ook uitstekende plek om s àvonds te eten tegen goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Gelegen in prachtig wandelgebied en s`avonds genoten van rustige sauna in hotel.

“Ruhig gelegen, sehr freundliches Personal”

In die Stadt ist Bus empfehlenswert; zu weit zum Laufen. Busstation direkt vorm Haus. Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und freudlich. Es gab sogar lactosefreie Milch!

“Restzimmer unter Standard”

Wir hatten dieses Hotel über Expedia für ein Wochenende (Sa-Mo) gebucht. Bei Ankunft war ich über den schnellen Check-In erfreut - das Zimmer dämpfte die Freude leider wieder. Das Hotel hat zwei Stockwerke, unser Zimmer war unter dem Dach, keine Klimaanlage, draußen 30 Grad und somit stickige Saunaathmosphäre im Raum. Zudem war er recht klein, verwinkelt und ein wenig altmodisch eingerichtet. Die (sehr blumigen) Vorhänge waren teils an einer Schräge angebracht und ließen sich nicht richtig zuziehen. Den Balkon teilten wir mit dem Nachbarzimmer, das wie unseres in einem Dachwinkel untergebracht war. In anderen Hotels sind das die Abstellkammern. Hier lässt man sich das wie 4 Sterne bezahlen. Das Bad war sehr schön und neu, die Duschkabine war leider fehlgeplant mit Spalt unter der Kabinentür und der Abfluss war defekt. Die erste Dusche zur Abkühlung führte zum komplett überfluteten Bad. Nach einer Reklamation wurde der Abfluss repariert und mit ein wenig Vorsicht konnten wir weitere "Unfälle" vermeiden. Zum Positiven: Wunderschön am Park gelegen, super Frühstück, auch das Restaurant ist ausgezeichnet. Das Zimmer war blitzsauber. Freundlicher Service, gute Erreichbarkeit, ausreichend Parkplätze und ein Katzensprung (mit dem Auto) in die Innenstadt. Wir hatten sicherlich eines der "Rest"zimmer - angeblich sind die anderen Zimmer größer, geräumiger, moderner. Unser Zimmer entsprach nicht dem 4-Sterne-Standard und unseren Erwartungen. Vorsicht bei der Zimmerwahl.
