Good stay especially based on the price. Restaurant onsite was a real bonus. Great service & food overall. Friendly staff accommodating to my English.

Excellent stay
The staff was very nice. The beds were so comfortable that we both slept late the next day! The soaking tub is a nice feature after travelling. Highly recommend.

This hotel is well positioned for the main highway. The staff are helpful. The rooms are quite spacious with a large window. Very comfortable bed. I didn’t like the pillows but I still slept soundly. Food was good in the restaurant. All very good in all areas

It was very good stay. Nice and clean hotel. Good decor. Breakfast had good selection. Nice patio. It has on site restaurant and bar. We arrived late after restaurant was closed but they accommodated us and brought us very nice salads. It was very good service. One complaint is that air conditioner was not as powerful and only particularly cooled the room.

This hotel is pointless! It is situated in an industrial area with a charm of the spaghetti junction in the UK. The hotel is still very run down despite some effortless attempts to do a bit of upgrade work in the lobby. These minor tweaks to the front desk don’t take away the fact that the rooms are ready for demolition. When we arrived, we instantly noticed that the Aircon was not working making the room boiling hot all night. We also noticed that there in the “none smoker” room was a very heavy smell of smoking. The cleaning staff must surely have noticed? We gave up complaining as the guy that was in the reception didn’t speak a word of English and thought we was talking about football results in Venezuela, so we gave up. The worst part of this hotel was the restaurant. I won’t call it a restaurant but seemed more like a motorway filling station cafeteria, however when it comes to prices this place believe it is the Ritz. We were initially served by a very grumpy member of staff which rolled her eyes when we pointed out that our table was unsteady. Another member of staff told us about the marvellous food they prepared and suggested a special burger which was indeed very special as this is the worst burger I have had to date. The only positive was the young man behind reception when we arrived. He was very kind, helpful, spoke good English and gave us a great welcoming. Not a good place to stay. Overpriced and run down. Shame

Road Warrior - Home for the Night
Stayed at Ibis whilst driving down from Holland to France. Easy access. Nice dinner. Nice sleep. Very good breakfast and back on the road. Would recommend for similar traveler.

a fantastic budget hotel
I've stayed here on a few occasions but not on purpose, it just seems to be the one I book due to its convenient location, everything about this hotel is nice. the people, the rooms, the restaurant.

Dog friendly and close to motorway.
This is the second time we have stayed here. We were on a long road trip and this is the perfect place to stop. Dog friendly and there is great area for dogs within hotel grounds. French breakfast was buffet style, lovely and freshly prepared . We will stay here again .

Overnight stops between England and Austria. Hotel was very good for that purpose as it was very close to major motorways. We have stayed at this hotel in the past for the same reason. We did not find the restaurant food to be very good.

Didnt realise how basic places can get. No comfort whatsoever after a very long journey. Room very poor, bathroom adequate, WiFi poor. Restaurant dreadful. Tried to charge twice for room, already paid thru Hotel.com plus tried to charge for items not consumed in restaurant. No manager available in evening or next morning - in hiding in my opinion. One receptionist did her best to help but will avoid Ibis like the plague in future. Not a cheap hotel as we had cheaper in France and Germany on our holiday but much better rooms, facilities and trained personnel. Had to show the bar-lady what Calvados was. I suppose it is 100 mile from Normandy.

I was traveling thro' France to Switzerland/Italy. Needed a one night stop over. Booked on the basis of you know what to expect with an Ibis. It served my purpose. Clean, comfortable and good service. Rooms are basic. Good breakfast ( extra) - location was a bit off putting. Nothing local at all as far as I could see - you would not want to go for a walk etc. But as a stopover it was fine

We travelled with our dog and found everyone very friendly, the room was comfortable and we had a good dinner and a most enjoyable evening with the other guests. The hotel has a nice ambience and we would stay again.
