Exceptional service, beautiful rooms and superb location. The hotel arranged a private guide for us who was first rate. We asked for a private car to meet us at the airport which was there on time. They secured us fantastic seats to the Bolshoi which is adjacent to the hotel.

No shuttle bus. Wrong information on hotel web site. Looking shuttle stop for 30 mn
Finaly need to call hotel and wait 30 mn to get a taxi pick up and need 20 mn to drive
was suppose to be nearby the airport and save time for early morning flight
But taxi return to airport the following day need to be pais ay 800 RUB
No clear on web site
If you add hotel room + Break fast not included + taxi back, it much better to book another hotel, just 5 mn from terminal. It should be cheaper, more convenient and save time.
TV image reception was poor quality, suc as there was no TV arial !!!
"Luxurious, comfortable room for an Expedia deal!"
Upon arrival, the staff immediately helped me with my bags. The check-in process was quick and simple, and my room was comfortable, clean and luxurious. There were bottles of water and guides to the city. I was so pleased with everything.
This room provided me with the most comfortable bed and linens that I had during my entire stay in Russia. I felt that any questions that I had were answered if possible. Even when the staff was unsure of how to answer my questions, they were forthcoming, even if they were not so pleasant in tone. I understaffed that a part of it is the Russia culture, and I honestly loved the straightforward answers and help. The maids/cleaning staff were nice and left my room perfect whenever I returned from a long day out. I was very pleased.
The only thing that I am worried about is that I forgot my checking account checks and other documents in my room safe, and I called, yet have not heard back from the hotel regarding my missing documents. I would love to be able to email with the hotel's front reception directly, so I can have my documents and checks mailed back to me in the USA. I don't know who to talk to for help with this issue. If anyone from the hotel sees this review, please let me know how to contact someone for help with this. Eveything else was excellent. Thank you!

I got a bargain rate on this hotel so was not expecting anything amazing. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was (a) Right next to the tube station so was easy to get about and into the centre within 10 mins (b) High quality rooms, very clean and tidy (c) Very helpful staff with reasonable English (enough to help you when you have general questions) (d) Provided lots of information about tourist activities (e) Quiet considering it was on a main street
This hotel is decorated to lavish standards, very old Russian style. Magnificent marble staircases and décor. Large comfortable rooms, Breakfast was very good and relaxing harp music played whilst you ate. Generally a very good experience and I would recommend this hotel highly.

We chose this hotel for its location to sightseeing and price. It was situated only 5 minutes from the metro and high speed train to our airport.
The hotel and its staff were excellent and breakfast which was not included was only £12 per head and excellent value. We used the metro exclusively and found it easy once you get used to the system and at approx £1.00 per journey good value and easy to sightsee Moscow
Very good experience when compared to typical Russian hotels. Of course staff has the usual Russian lack of smiles or friendliness but, don't forget, you are in Russia. Two rooms use one bathroom, but there were not many people staying in the hotel, so the bathroom was all ours. I think that’s typical. Room was clean, nothing stolen from room after room service. Easy 10 minute walk to Metro. The most impressive part, to me, was the quality of the breakfast buffet that came with each morning. It was good, with a wide variety of Russian foods that prevented boredom and food was replaced before it ran out. They even changed it up from day to day. I was expecting a bad experience for how little I paid, but ended up very satisfied. Would recommend. In fact, I probably will stay again.
