“Business visit to moscow”

“Cheerful but not really cheap”

Holiday Inn at Lesnaya is a comfortable hotel. Location is good, staff is friendly, the rooms are spacious, and well isolated from the outside noise and cold, and the beds comfortable. I have stayed 3 times now in this hotel and will come back. Since the hotel charges USD 30 a day for internet access I suggest one goes to the coffee shop 150 meters away for a great fresh breakfast and free wifi. The hotel offers four pillows but every time I stayed there the pillows smell greasy so one needs to choose which one smells less bad.

“Good location”

The hotel is located right next to subway station and aero express station. Very convenient.

“A practical and cheerful hotel in Moscow”

The rooms are well equipped and quiet spacious. The hallway was at times loud as tourist groups hung out in the halls late at night. I was very disappointed that they charge roughly$30 a day for internet while the city is full of free hotspots. Also while it is not recommended to drink the water from the tap they do not provide complimentary bottled water. But for the rest i had a good night rest.

“Lesnaya Holiday Inn”

Nice hotel. Parking and guests drop off area is way below expectations. They have some sort of cabbies parked at the entrance blocking a way to the lobby. It seems that securities are setting this thing up taking care of those cabbies to let them make some business. Weird... plus inconvenient for guests

“Peace and quiet in the middle of Moscow”

You wouldn't know you were in the middle of busy, noisy, traffic ridden Moscow. The hotel is spacious, welcoming with comfortable settees dotted around and pleasant staff. The cultural map of Moscow at Reception is excellent. About half an hour's walk to Red Square and close to many attractions.The rooms are light, airy and quiet despite building work nearby. Beautiful Church being renovated nearby.Comfortable rooms but be aware that the beds are very firm. Pillow menu provided.

Traveller's tip

Full breakfast and Continental are very expensive in hotel. Turn right outside hotel and take a short stroll. Buy breakfast from a Kiosk. A toasted baguette with bacon,sausage,salad is cheap.Across the road the kiosk sells good beer. Try the excellent large almond biscuits.The fruit stall is first class.You can save alot if you follow Russian ways.
