“Affordable Moscow business/tourist hotel.”
I've stayed at the Aerostar Hotel 4 times, usually for 1-4 nights, while seeing friends and shopping in transit from Siberia to USA. The Aerostar has decent rooms and amenities, is reasonably priced, offers a better-than-average breakfast buffet, and is terrifically located for Sheremetyvo access, subway access, Mega-mall access, local shopping, and downtown access.
“Great value for Moscow”
A bit of old Moscow yet many modern conveniences. It's not plush, but if you’re looking for a clean, no-nonsense Moscow hotel that won't break the bank, this is a good choice. Receptionist personnel are friendly and bilingual. Breakfast is average but adequate. Internet worked well in my room and at the bar (though I had some problems connecting at first in my room). The location is OK if you’re able to navigate the Moscow subway system. It's a great sub-way system but if you can't speak or read Russian, it can be intimidating to use. There are a couple of nice restaurants nearby so you're not completely reliant on the hotel for meals. Still, the hotel food is good but pricey which is typical of most Moscow hotels. I have stayed at this hotel 4 times now and would not hesitate to stay there again. I recommend it over most of the other overpriced Moscow hotels.
“good price and value in Moscow”
although the room was smaller than expected, it was an executive room, it was clean, comfortable and had a nice balcony view. the hotel bar was expansive and a place to get wifi. the spa has no jacuzzi or steam just a red hot sauna. a very reasonable Paul Mitchell Salon was on premise. all in all we were satisfied with the hotel.
“Would book this hotel again”
Professional, helpful staff. Good buffet restaurant is on on fourth floor. You need to request service and leave 1000 roubles deposit at reception to enable international calls from your room phone. I found the free internet-connected computers on the ground floor useful. There are two souvenir shops on the ground floor. Great location within 10 minutes walk to Dinamo Metro station.
“Very good value for money”
When I booked the hotel, I was looking for the lowest prise, so I didn't expect much. But I was plesantly surptised that the hotel was more than OK. The lobby and the rooms are clean. The sheets are being changed daily. They have an ironing room, and a FREE internet room with 3 PC's. Didn't check the wi-fi option. The Breakfast was pretty good. Nothing too fancy, but more than satisfying. The staff was kind and helpful. The only thing that bothered me is the air conditioning which was kinda loud, and I had to turn it off in order to fall asleep. The location is good - close to the center of Moscow, but you have about 10 minutes walk to the metro. Also if you're bored or hungry in the middle of the night, there's nothing intertaining arrounf the hotel, and the restaurants close at 11PM, so you need to take a ride somewhere. That's it I guess.
“Exelent service and appropriate price”
«Aerostar» Hotel was open after reconstruction - comfort rooms, tasty and various breakfast, operational and efficiency service, qualifying personnel. The location of the Hotel - 5 minutes form metro “Dinamo” is the best solution against Moscow traffic. I really enjoyed the staying in the Hotel
“Aerostar- Service without a smile”
Lobby is inviting! Although the service without a smile was my main compliant. The staff would stare and make us feel very uncomfortable while we eat breakfast or lunch. The front desk staff was average to below average there was 1 outstanding individual otherwise when I requested an internet cable I had to go to the front desk myself to get it? The hotel taxi service was also bizzare with drivers who didn't seem to care much and there was a minimum charge 500 rub so I recommend the metro for 22 rub. We spent 1 night at the Ritz Carlton and we should have booked our whole stay there as that was outstanding and of course in another league but made it very difficult to go back to Aerostar. The only plus was the hotel was located very close to the CSKA hockey arena which was the main purpose of our trip to watch some KHL Hockey.
“Hotel staffs are poorly trained”
This is the hotel where you can find so many inconsistencies in their responses. For example, I asked the concierge on how much it cost for a shuttle to Domodedovo airport she answered 2000 roubles. The next day when I was ready to order the shuttle service another staff told me it cost 3000 roubles. Another example, their business center open from 9AM-7PM, but outside the normal hour you can go to th front desk to ask them to open the door for you. It is officially posted on the door. However, it depends on the staff. Sometimes they help you sometimes they ask you to come tomorrow morning. The safe box in the room was broken/not resetted. I also lost my camera cover in the room. They must have accidentally disposed it when cleaning the room. The restaurant was also very slow in their service. There is no other option for eating since there are no restaurants nearby within 10 minutes walking, unless you want to take taxi/metro. The only advantage of this hotel is that it is near Dynamo metro staion.
“Excellent value”
The hotel is of a very good standard. It is reasonably well located for Dinamo metro station, ca. 5 minutes walk.
“Das Hotel liegt nur wenige Minuten von der Metro-Station Dinamo entfernt.”
Modernes Hotel, ausgezeichnetes Frühstücksbüffett, großes, sauberes Zimmer und ruhige Lage. Freundlicher Service.
