Love the view and scenery. Unfortunately when you chose a colonial or older hotel sometimes warm water is a issue, and it was. I also don't like finding long woman hair on my bed or pillow case. I also like the convenience of going aa I please Unfortunately here you have someone opening and closing the gate

Fabulous gardens & view overlooking Morelia's historic center with the beautiful Cathedral & the park with the zoo. Located on a hill in a great part of town. We took a taxi down to join the enthusiastic crowds for the night of Sept 15th's EL GRITO! Viva Mexico!

Very nice place. Rooms especially nice. Great Service. If anything, please just add small refrigerators and perhaps a small microwave to the rooms. Good amenities which can only add to the comfort.

Pick a winner!
Beautiful out of the way hotel. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but close enough for a quick cab ride to the center. Awesome gardens and landscaping, not to mention the amazing view of the city at night. Stay here, you won’t regret it!

Hidden Gem
I’m so happy we decided to stay at this place. As soon as we pulled in, the beautiful gardens made a fantastic visual impact. Our room was amazing and resembled the inside of a castle. The breakfast was delicious and we were far away enough from the city center to avoid the noise but close enough to take a quick taxi ride there if we wanted. Stay here, you won’t regret it!

All was ok, except the fact that the lighting in the room #23 was very dim . There is a step that you cannot see due to the poor light, stumbled twice. Made a suggestion to reception, apparently they already knew about it and did not remedy the situation.

The restaurant was very good, staff very accommodating but only several spoke English. Wifi signal was very poor, almost non existant in room but okay in courtyard. There was some black mold in bathroom walls and around bathroom window

Little disappointed in the condition of there room. Very old. Beds were very uncomfortable. The rooms also smelled moldy or musty. Lastly the internet didn’t work in the rooms. The overall grounds were nice and the views were awesome. Enjoyed he restaurant food and service

The distance from downtown indicated by the app is not true. It says 2.4 kilometers or something like that, which makes it seem walkable. It is not. It may be 2.4 km if it was a zipline. But the property is beautiful and has a great view. Although walking downtown is not really an option (especially on the way back), the price for an UBER is very affordable (2-3 dollars). If you enjoy peace and quiet at night, it is a great place. If you want to walk downtown and enjoy the city nightlife then maybe not. The hotel is in the nicer part of town, close to big shopping malls. Most travellers are not into that. But again, a cheap UBER away from a nice place. I could never access the internet (except at the reception) and they didn't seem to care. The rooms are large and nice but with a musty smell.They also seem to have apartment-style rooms which would be great for a family. If you do stay there, take a walk to Casa Embrujo for a nightcap or a light dinner.
