“Not Impressed”

The other Sheratons at which I stayed had much better sound isolation between rooms and between rooms and hallways.

“Not what I expected from a star hotel”

Parking lot was not cleaned after snow fall and I have to walk carefully to get to the lobby. I have to carry my heavy suitcases as I could not roll them on the slushy/snowy sidewalk. Once inside it was ok and I got checked in easily. The next I found that my card was charged $50, which I was told that it is the deposit/hold. They should have told me about it at check in. On the whole I was not too impressed with the stay there.

“Sheraton Laval”

Overall, the hotel is good, clean and the employees are polite and respectful. Access to the hotel is a bit tricky. In two occasions, we noticed liquid (liquor) spill in the elevator.

“Vava”

“Montreal Surroundings”

This was my second time in Montreal and it was great! It's a beautiful and friendly city and is very easy to walk and drive around. Although during busy season or big events, the metro(subway) is the way to go, easy and reliable. My first visit I stayed in downtown, this second visit I stayed in Laval and I was very happy. Got a nice hotel for less money and there was a nice mall right next door. The metro is just 15mins away and if you're driving there's a parking too. The hotel was clean and has everything you need. Employees were friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and up to date. My only problem was that they charge for internet service!

“Great Location”

The beds was very comfortable and swimming pool & fitness areas were good. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The only thing I was disappointed was the cost of breakfast.

Back to school shopping in Montreal was our goal and someone told us about a mall (Caffour Laval). Upon our arrival at the Sherton, it was beside the mall. We parked our car for the 2 days and walk across the parking lot. Great location for our trip.

“Ability to host great events”

Hotel is a little bit out of the way but has one of the largest stand alone shopping complexes in all of Quebec. You can always find a great bargain on top brand names...

“Pleasant trip”

The hotel was and I must say all of the staff at the hotel was very helpful when needed. We spent a few evenings at the bar and they had entertainment that was pretty good. The bar staff especially the manager was very enjoyable to chat with throughout the evening and made us feel very comfortable.
