“Perfect”

For the price I Paid, the size of the room was incredible! Pool was great with tremendous views, but lacks a hot tub. Kitchen is well equipped. Nice lobby with kind and helpful staff. Views blocked on lower floors. Hotel is very close to a mini mall with: Food court, movie theatre, grocery stores, and SAQ. As well it's only a 2min walk to a subway stop. Over all I would recommend this hotel to any one who wants a large room, at a reasonable price, that is out of down town but still walking/subway distance away.

“Poor service”

Rejected to give me a 30 minutes extra time before to make check out the keep just watching you with your hands full with a lot of bags no body willing to open the door for you Poor breakfast the only good thing I like in the hotel the location.

“Good overall value”

The "Marriott style" customer care is evident. Staffs are polite and efficient. The buffet breakfast, included with all stays, is quite comprehensive and will appeal especially to families with younger children. The gym on the top floor has enough equipment for guests to enjoy. Decent indoor swimming pool also located on the top floor. There is a coin-operated Laundromat in the basement which is very convenient. The suites do not all have mirrors in the bedrooms; this could be improved as ladies might find this inconvenient. My only other peeve is with the elevators (lifts). You can't always tell if they're going up or down. Located on a quiet street, this all-suites hotel is a good value that I recommend to everyone, especially families.

Area recommendations

Downtown Montreal is for everyone. Shopping, sporting events, nightlife or even casino gambling, you'll find it in close proximity.

“Nice family hotel”

The hotel was exactly what we wanted -- suite with 2 full beds, 1 sofa bed, 2 tvs, and a sizable kitchen. It was not big but nice and comfortable. The hotel was very accommodative. I booked 2 rooms and requested them to be next to each other. My request was easily granted. During our stay, there were not many supplies readily available in the room (such as shower cap, dish detergent), but they were delivered to us right away upon request. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent. My only complaints were that the heater was quite loud, and that the elevator was very slow.

“Poor service”

The hotel was in a wonderful location and had all the amenities we were looking for. We checked in smoothly and our family of five unpacked for our weekend stay (which is a lot of stuff with two teenagers) . After making something to eat we discovered water leaking from the ceiling of our bathroom. We called down and were told we would have to move from the 8th floor to the 4th. This was a huge inconvenience as we needed to repack our belongings with three children at almost midnight after working all day then travelling. No assistance was given with the move and no compensation was offered. When we asked for an hour later check out on our last day, they wouldn't even approve that! We were even charged for our local call! The only good thing about switching rooms was that being on the 4th floor meant it was easier to take the stairs as an elevator was never available unless it was late at night. We had to ask to have our room cleaned on the second day and our coffee was not replaced during our stay. What I can say positive is that it is in a wonderful location and the size of the room (2 bedroom suite) was great.

“Hidden treasure”

For a long term traveller this hotel is ideal - with a full size kitchen with all appliances it makes it very convenient. The room is very large to accomodate a family or a busy professional with lots of files to handle. I used the parking which was handy and convenient as well.

“Home away from from or Home in Montreal, you choose”

Located within walking distance of 2 Metro stations, Concordia and McGill Universites, in a fascinating residential neighborhood downtown Montreal. One block from fashionable Sherbrooke, its boutiques and Museums and a short stroll to the action and buzz of St. Catherine's eternal party zone. All of the above including a great stay in a larger than average room, with warm and corteous staff at your service and very convenient facilities and extreme useful amenities. What else do you need?

Traveller's tip

Wether you are interested on dining in or eating out, you have an impressive assortment of gourmet take out shops and divine little restaurants to satisfy every palate, desire and budget, with an 8 minute radius of the hotel. Venture and enjoy.

“Good value in great area”

This is a good value, especially for families, also pet friendly a plus for us. Good size suites, ample breakfast, the only negative is only two elevators which are small and slow when hotel busy. Good cheap parking nearby if can't use hotel parking which has very low ceiling, e.g. vans won't fit. Will stay there again.
