“Great experience at Quality Hotel Midtown Montreal”

I was very pleased with my 3 day stay at the Quality Hotel midtown. The service was great from start to finish. The room was well appointed with all the necessary amenities as well as high speed internet, DVD player which in fact I used, as well as a compact fridge which came in very handy. The through the wall A/C unit functionned beautifully in very hot humid weather outside. The Le Grill restaurant is a true delight - the food delicious and reasonably priced. I also availed myslef of the fitness room and business center on site. By the way there is wi-fi in the main lobby which was such great for me.

“Nice, simple and inexpensive hotel”

The elevator air conditioning was quite loud and the lights on the various buttons did not all work. The continental breakfast was ok - bread, bagels, hard-boiled eggs, some kind of Danish. The plasticware was sometimes in short supply, but was replenished quickly enough when mentioned. The kosher butter with only Hebrew characters on the packaging was fine once you figured out what it was. I did not realize that the hotel was so kosher, but being a Catholic from New York with many Jewish friends, I felt at home. The room was very fine and clean. The high speed internet for free was an extra added plus. The free parking area behind the hotel made the stay very much easier. I did not use any of the other facilties besides my room and the breakfast area, so I cannot say one way or the other anything about them. The price was good and the hotel is right next to a highway and made getting around quite easy. I was not really more than a 15 minute drive from anything I wanted to see or wnywhere I wanted to visit. Overall, it was a positive experience.

“Great stay”

We visited Montreal to spend time our long lost second cousins that we have not seen in over 15 years. The hotel staff were very accomodating. They gave us a conference room to use free of charge. The location is superb. we left our car at the Hotel, and used the mass transit. My husband was impressed by the amount of services this place offers free of charge. The include, fridge, local calls, parking, breakfast, internet, business center. all in all this was a great stay at a great price.

“Good for the price, with parking and easy walk to subway.”

Hotel is not in the best location as far as downtown Montreal is concerned, but it had parking for our car and was a short walk to subway. Our room was for three adults and had plenty of room and was comfortable. We did not spend a lot of time in room or hotel. Breakfast was included and was simply continental and a mediocre standard, but enough to give you a start to the day. Staff were friendly to us and we had no problem with the booking. There were other people who had problems at the front desk and they seem slightly disorganised in this ndepartment.

“pretty good”

pleasant expierience overall. room was great, had nice bed and lots of chairs. Bathroom was clean and organized. Shower was nice as well. Very close to downtown montreal. Free parking was awsome. Complimentary breakfast was not too great but was edible. nice large TV in the room, however no DVD player which kinda sucked, and when we asked they said there were no DVD players in any of the rooms. overall if your on a budget and you want a nice clean safe place to stay i definitely recommend this hotel. and i will definitely be going back there if i go back to Montreal.

“First review”

We found the room air being very dry, as the heating/air system is quite antiquated. Though it is located in a good area of Montreal, with restaurants close by, it is a convenient location, for us. Will stay there again... Plus the price is reasonabe.

“Good For Business Travellers.”

Good location, clean, comfortable. Great service desk, accomodating and friendly staff. Great internet speed. Free outdoor parking (hard to find in Montreal). I parked a cube van ! HORRIBLE breakfast. Took a long time to replenish items that were gone (eggs never came out after us being there for 20 mins), toaster old & slow, poor selection.
