“Montreal Long Weekend”
Hotel was nice and location perfect. Hotel links right to metro, which make it easy to get to any part of city. The only thing that was a let down hotel sauna is closed. Sauna is one reason I stay at hotel. Stay in city often at hotel right beside this one which has sauna, but decided to try Marriott this stay. Was fine , but a let down about sauna. Starbucks right in lobby too.
“Closest to Bell Centre”
Overall the hotel was terrific, but most impressive were the people that we dealt with in our 1 day stay -- we stay at many hotels but the welcoming staff totally exceeded expectations. A young female concierge helped us with kid-friendly restaurant and tourist information; the two doormen who we had the pleasure to speak with - both were knowledgeable, affable and just couldn't do enough to help myself and our family of 5 to get acclimated; and the reservationist who checked us in, who gave us just the right information for the WI-Fi; pool for the kids, etc. We had only a few days to spend in Montreal and truly the staff helped make it a memorable first visit for myself and our family.
“Hasan”
Parking is very expensive., the shower is not comfortable as you can not have hot water with out having the water flow very strong. Other than this the hotel is very good and the staff are very nice, I will recommend this hotel again
“Very nice experience, extraordinary, really!!!”
This hotel was great for the purposes we needed it for. Super location, easy access to transit as well as the airport. Room large and clean. Not an extraordinary view but not hideous either. Would stay here again, and probably will.
“Best service ever.”
They bent over backwards to help me, due to problem with my husband's stay. All staff were exceptional.
“Great Experience”
My husband and I booked this hotel due to its' proximity to the Centre Bell and the other reviews on Expedia. We were not disappointed. The staff was coureous and the facility was great. We only spent one night and then headed back home. Wishing we stayed longer. Would definately go back.
“great location for walkers”
The hotel is set in the heart of the financial district so it's very quiet at night, away from all the lights and noise, but it's also very close to all the attractions if you like to walk. The Bell Centre and the planetarium is a block away, Catherine street is about 3 blocks away, Old Montreal and Jacques Cartier Plaza is about a 10 min walk; Chinatown is on the same street directly east of the hotel and about 10mins away. Via rail access is only a block away and is connected to the Metro underground which is great for staying dry. We noticed a lot more "hidden gems" for restaurants when walking as much as we did vs. going to a franchise. Best poutine is 25mins away on Rachel Street and it's worth the 24 different variety of poutine! (le Banquise)
“Great location”
A metro station is located under the hotel so you don't even need to go out.
“Convenient location”
Hotel very conveniently located near train station if arriving by train. Short walking distance only to shops and restaurants. Great customer service. Were given one of the recently renovated rooms with great views. Highly recommend!
“comfortable, well located”
