“Too expensive and no worth stay”
Most of the staff at this hotel were friendly but there was one employee at the front counter who was very rude to me. When I asked him to ex-change $100.00 to Canadian dollars he replied that he was not a bank. He was very rude. I paid a lot of money to stay at this hotel and I did not appreciate his attitude.
“Luxury and Location: A guaranteed good time!”
I couldn't of had a better trip to Montreal, especially due to the wonderful experience at Loews Hotel Vogue. My advice when booking a trip to Montreal is definitely stay at this hotel - don't even hesitate! The staff clearly take pride in their work and you feel it with their humble and helpful approach. The doormen always greeted us with a smile and pleasant courtesy, it was a wonderful way to make us feel welcome. Our concierge helped out so much from offering great dining tips to even booking our train tickets to Old Quebec City. The maid was one of the sweetest ladies I met and kept our room sparkling. Now for the rooms: FABULOUS! A vanity in the room is every girls best friend. Beds so comfortable you didn't want to leave. The bathroom was the selling point for me. Bright, large and the deep soaker jetted tub made me want to stay there all day! The rooms were unbelievable quiet and I never heard anything from outside. Location is perfect for anyone wanting to travel Montreal by foot. There's so much to do and all within walking distance. Vibrant Sainte-Catherine felt like New York City filled with Europeans. Excellent restaurants, good shopping, close to museums and theatre and a few blocks away from Mont Royal Park. Montreal is a very romantic city. November was a perfect time to visit because it was still warm enough to wear a light jacket, enjoy the beautiful autumn colours and see the downtown businesses glowing with Christmas lights. It was a magical experience.
“Perfect location. Professional and courteous staff.”
My husband and I stayed at the hotel for a long weekend and had a great time. The hotel is less than 1/2 mile from the Bell Centre and around the corner from Crescent Street so it is in the perfect location. The staff was extremely helpful and very responsive. The lobby bar has a nice "feel" to it and the food was very tasty. We will definitely be back in the near future.
“Would go back in a heartbeat”
Have stayed in many hotels in Montreal and was just going up on the spur of the moment and saw the deal by expedia and Loews so I thought I would give it a try. It was a great location near the shops and restuarants. The staff was exceptional and the hotel was wonderful ! I know plan on staying there when I go back next month!
“amazing location”
Reputable service, best location you can ask for for conference downtown or next door shopping. Very friendly staff, accommodated everything we asked for. Definitely stay at this hotel again our next time back to Montreal!
“Almost 100%”
Very good proximity to the Bell Centre. Fantastic room, bedding, amenities & service upon check-in. Overall, very wonderful hotel. Two exceptions: a well-meaning lady at reception recommended wine bar for after-concert. All were closed when we headed over after 10:30PM on a Sunday night. Very disappointing. Also, waited a number of minutes to be acknowledged by the man working the night shift on reception. It was after midnight on a Sunday night. He appeared to be having a personal conversation on the telephone. Very insulting to be ignored. As I work retail, this sort of activity is generally not condoned. Sort this out, and you'd get a 100% rating.
“Magnificent stay in Montreal”
Had a great stay at the Loews hotel Vogue in Montreal. The location was great, really close to Rue Cresent, the subway, and shopping on St. Catherine's. The service at the front desk and concierge was exceptional...they provided us with great advice and patienty answered all of our questions. The restaurant is currently being renovated, but we preferred eating out anyway. Definitey recommend this hote!
“Can't wait to go back”
We loved the hotel, staff, location, basically everything. The bed was so comfortable, we slept until 10:00 AM one morning! The restaurant is not open currently, but the bar has light fare available. With so many wonderful restaurants all around, eating was not a problem. We will most definitely return.
“Great location.”
Everyone was courteous and helpful. Employees/concierge made great recommendations and were patient with directions.
“Thoroughly delightful”
Lovely, well-situated, well-staffed, well-maintained, indulgently comfortable yet unpretentious (and what a whirlpool tub!) Absolute home-run.
