“Good hotel, great city”
An excellent hotel in a good location. Easy walking distance from the railway station, with shops bars and restaurants all close by. Lovely big room with everything necessary for a comfortable short stay.
“We will be back”
We had a great 2 day stay and will keep this hotel in mind when we are back in Montreal. It is situated close to shopping and many many restaurants. The staff was friendly and they have the best ceasar salad in their second floor restaurant/lounge?
“Would go back”
We found the hotel staff to be very friendly and helpful. The hotel was quiet and clean and we loved the kitchenette. The location was great, easy walk to St Catherine Street, the Metro and places to eat. My one complaint was the bed. It was sagging in the middle and not very comfy.
“average hotel”
very nice location good hotel for those who don't spend a lot of time at hotel
“Great for family”
Fully equipped kitchen and spacious room was great for family trip
“Great Location”
close to crescent for clubbing, and shopping nearby. Comfortable bed, good night sleep.
“Comfortable and very well located!!”
The price is reasonable, the location is excellent and the hotel room is very comfortable.
“Convenient location”
Chose this hotel for a reunion weekend with 2 of my university girlfriends. We wanted a suite-style room and chose this one because of the location. Although the hotel wasn't full, we were given a room with an ugly view of the back alleyway. There was some evidence of prior guests (a cheerio on the floor for instance) but it wasn't enough to complain about. What was a problem was the sleeping situation. The room had 2 doubles and a pull-out couch. The mattresses on the beds were amazing as were the fluffy duvet covers. I got the couch and the mattress was about an inch thick, wonky, sunken in the middle and stained. Had to call down for the bed linens as well. No duvet for me! After one uncomfortable night, I complained and they did add a second, slightly thicker mattress but I still rolled into the middle of the bed all night. I paid the same to sleep there but sure didn't get the same quality of bed. Won't make that mistake again. Staff were pleasant and seemed eager to please. WiFi worked well and was inexpensive. Nice bar and restaurant on the mezzanine. Oh - the bathroom was small and dingy. Bathtub was stained and the shower curtain wasn't long enough to cover from end to end!
“19" Television and Paid Inernet”
The room was very spacious and I would say probably the biggest size room I've stayed at for the price. The bed was very comfortable. However, I cannot remember when I stayed at downtown "Premium Hotel" that had a 19" CRT as the television. Also, the internet was advertised as free but it wasn't and I had to pay $5 a day for the privilege of using it. I don't believe that the bathrooms has been updated for at least 20 years and it showed. They were clean but the wall paper was peeling by the door and the tub had the green un CLR'ed look. The water pressure of the shower gave us a surprise everyday. We would set it and be pleasantly surprised by a burst of hot water and then cool. We were not sure if it was by design or a problem. Also, this was the first hotel in many years that actually still had keys. The keys were very quaint, however, opening the doors with them was very difficult. We loved the location, service and the size of the room, but the TV and the internet was the determining factor for the lower rating.
“Well located Hotel”
This hotel is well placed, quite clean and excellent value. The fixtures are a little hold, but the beds are quite comfortable
