“Great hotel in great location. Very helpful staff.”

Loved this hotel. In old Montreal, which is very quaint. Hotel is nicely kept, nice wood floors, big bathroom. Only complaint is that I didn't love the comforter on the bed or the curtain print. Great price for great location. Very good deal.

“Wonderful three days”

First trip to Montreal, it was a business trip the hotel was great. If your looking for the kitchenette and sofa type room this isn't it. If your looking for old romantic Montreal with great service and food then here you go. Breakfests are free and excellent, so was dinner. The people were great, I speak no french and they helped me with everything from calling a cab to great places to see. Only down side PARKING!! it's old Montreal, no parking without paying 9 to 10 bucks a day. This isn't mentioned until you get there so be ready. One parking lot tried to pork us for 9 bucks, never told us they were day only parking when 1st we pulled in. The hotel manager asked soon as we went in and quickly corrected the situation an got our money back but still we had to pay at the hotels parking anyway. Good side it's walking distance to the old port anyway the location is great. Would I go back, you bet next time in the warmer months

“Great hotel if you have a conference at Le Palais de Congres”

Why stay at any other place if you have a conference to attend? I had friends who stayed at hotels that were really no closer and were not as nice, more expensive, and did not include breakfast. The breakfast was great, and the restaurant appears to be well known for its great food (and fairly high prices). Being just a couple of blocks from the main drag of old town and the waterfront was a real plus as well. I really liked this hotel.

“Auberge Bonaparte is exceptional”

First class all the way!! the hotel is impeccably clean, the rooms spacious and well-appointed, and the restaurant is one of the best we've ever eaten in. We LOVE coming here and treat ourselves to this fine experience at least once a year (or more).

“Great location in old Montreal”

The Hotel Bonaparte is in the center of old Montreal and within walking distance of many of the sights you will want to visit. Our room was large, with two French windows, a bistro table and chair set (perfect for snacks and wine), and a four-poster bed. The breakfast was substantial and tasty. A bit expensive, but, for the most part, worth it.

Area recommendations
All of Montreal, but the old section if short on time.
