Like most hotels in Paris the rooms, elevator, and hallways are compact. Compared to other hotels around it was reasonably priced, and not far from one of the main international, and local train stations. Good luck finding it!
We enjoyed our stay of 3 days at this quant hotel. It is quiet, clean and comfortable. They offer a daily breakfast at an additional charge but we went to the pastry shop down the street each morning. You are a few blocks from the Metro and close to a lot of restaurants. The front desk also arrange airport transfer for 4 of us at only 65E which was a deal. I would definitely stay there again.
Nice rooms, great staff, and a location that's convenient to everything. Public transport runs directly in front or within a few blocks, plus tour buses run nearby. Restaurants, corner stores, coffee shops, every convenience within a block or two. Plus beautiful gardens, Latin Quarter and most major attractions within walking distance. Vibrant, friendly neighborhood.
Our room was very nice. The hotel staff was great and the location for eating was great. There was a little distance walk to all of the main attractions but in Paris, so what! What a beautiful city to take a walk!

For various reasons I was not sure I would be making this business trip until just 18 days beforehand. This was my first time with Expedia, and it was a winner. The price was at the low end for 3-star hotels. The location is a 10 minute walk from the Denfert-Rochereau metro & RER stop that is a direct ride, no transfers, from Charles de Gaulle airport. It's also about a 10-minute walk from Gare Montparnasse, and from the Observatory of Paris in the other direction. The hotel is on a small residential side street near Avenue du Maine & Rue Daguerre, both of which have many restaurants, bistros, brasseries, boulangeries, small grocery stores, and other shops. It's not a tourist area, it's a modestly upscale residential area. (But, it's a short walk plus a short metro ride to the tours areas.) Most of the other guests appeared to be French, so the locals seem to find it a good value also. Some of the desk staff have only a little English but I have a little French so that worked out OK. The room came equipped with a dorm refrigerator and there was free WiFi. My only slightly negative comment is that the room was tiny, but that's the norm in Europe.
