Driving up my wife and I were worried we had picked a crazier area than expected but the hotel was a calm, cool, fun, and overall awesome intimate place to stay. The rooms weren't enormous but this is Europe. The decor was amazing and the details were not overlooked. From the bathroom hardware to the fabric lined walls it was great. The staff was extremely helpful and made our stay great.

The hotel was generally lovely, was in a great location with friendly and helpfull staff. We were staying in a standard room. The room itself was fine, the decor was a little tired and the ensuite bathroom was very small.
The breakfast buffet was good.
I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to friends.
Booked this hotel as a romantic base for our 30th wedding anniversary. Before we went I was a bit worried that it might be slightly tacky (especially when we got an email inviting us to buy a 'Love Box'!). But it is all done in (to quote Kenny Everett) "the best possible taste". The decor is romantic dark reds and purples - finished to a very high standard. We opted for a superior double and the room was a decent size by Paris hotel standards. Really enjoyed the excellent breakfast - great quality with fresh juices, fruit, pastries, scrambled egg, bacon, waffles, pancakes, cereals and continental meats and cheeses etc. Far exceeded our expectations.

This hotel is very well situated in Montmartre, and the tube station is 1-minute walk away. It's close to some superb galleries such as the Halle StPierre, eateries, bars etc. and it's a short walk away from the Sacre Coeur. It is very childfriendly and relaxed - particularly the receptionists impressed us; they were nice and attentive. There is a small Montmartre 'train' a minute away which you can take - it's great fun for kids and adults, you see quite a bit of Montmartre, and iit costs ca. Euro 6 for the day, and is hop-on-hop-off. There are also many carousels, and ice-creama (don't miss Amorino and particularly Scaramouche https://www.facebook.com/ScaramoucheArtisanGlacier)
The room we had (accommodating 3people) was large and clean. It's a bit quirky which we liked. Free wifi is provided. Breakfast seems a bit too expensive - you can either pop downstairs to the restaurant for a cheaper breakfast, or choose from a vast array of cafes and bars next door etc. There are larger and smaller supermarkets dotted around, so you are never stranded for things. Chat Noir's restaurant looks nice too - we didn't get around trying it though. The rooms have air-conditioning and double-glazing if you don't like the sounds of Montmartre; we liked them very much (a bit of music, a bit of traffic, a bit of people having a good time,a bit of Paris..) and we didn't find them intrusive, so slept with open windows, and in our experience the hustle-and-bustle stopped at ca 1am. Great overall!

Staff were polite, courteous, helpful and informative. Location is central in Montmartre near Sacre Coeur and transit. Despite location on busy street room was quiet and provided a peaceful sanctuary from the bustle and noise of Paris.

In considering the price we paid for the room, it was exactly right. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was very small with an AC that didn't work well. WIFI is free but hardly worked. Bathroom was extremely tiny. But with all that being said it was close to the metro and clean. If your just needed a place to sleep for an inexpensive rate then this is your place.
Pocket Guide: Paris Montmartre - Sacre Coeur Hotels
One of Paris’s best-loved areas, the bohemian hilltop village of Montmartre offers winding streets, portrait artists on Place du Tertre, the wedding-cake basilica of Sacré-Coeur and extensive city views. Cafés and late-night cabarets add to the romance. The multicultural Goutte d’Or neighbourhood around Barbès-Rochechouart Métro has street markets and ethnic shops. St-Ouen flea market is a popular weekend attraction.
