“The noise is...inside!”

Hotel well located and established in Monterrey, the only problem is the live music band ar the lobby (I stayed on a Wednesday). It stops at 11 pm and its so loud that its difficult to sleep early.

“Loud music ruins overwise satisfactory stay”

Don't go to this hotel. The loud music in the lobby every evening rebounded throughout the atrium and was a very disagreeable disturbance. Even though the rooms have double doors to cancel out the music, they don't work. This is a shame because in every other way, the hotel is quite good: decent food, excellent and friendly service, comfortable rooms and a good price. In addition, the location is perfect. But I will never stay here again. Management should rethink the awful music!

“Nice but”

This part of the city is not as safe as it once was. This is a nice hotel but a hotel in the San Pedro area (5 or 6 km west and south of the river) may be better if you enjoy walking about in the evening. The center of the hotel is a large open atrium onto which all rooms look out. There was loud, live music there during my stay. Nice if you enjoy it, ...

“My stay at Monterrey Crown Plaza”

Upon arriving at the Crown Plaza, I was impressed by the friendliness and efficiency of the staff.The hotel was centrally located,clean,quiet and comfortable.My internet rate included wi-fi and parking ! The swimming pool was crowded with children, but this is Mexico. Also the gym was very very warm since it shares space with the pool (it must have been 97 F in it ). The shower water pressure was poor. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel in Monterrey. Allan M Lluch

Area recommendations

San Pedro, the Macroplaza, Fundidora Park and Santa Lucia riverfront.They are safe and modern.In a rather souless and unbearably hot city,they provide a little comfort !

“Decent hotel for the price”

Decent hotel for Mexico, air conditioning, standard pretty much. Pool and hottub are nice. Restaraunt is pretty good but expensive.

“Crowne Plaza in Downtown Monterrey Mexico”

Older hotel, but in good shape. Buffet offerred good selection of both Mexican and non-mexican food styles. Rooms were clean and beds firm. TV had some english channels. Internet did not work during my 2 night stay. A colleague was charged for his internet and had to negotiate to get the the fee back.

Pedestrian mall 2 blocks north of the hotel with many stores and street vendors.

“Excellent but no free internet”

An excellent hotel with outstanding guest services. Fantastic all you can eat breakfast buffet with lots of food choices included in the room rate. Great location a few blocks from Macro Plaza and all the city center activities. BUT, internet services are $ dollars per hour and that can add up. So, if you have no need for internet, this is a great hotel.
