Overall nice stay beautiful area. Would definitely stay there again. Was enroute to big sur and stayed for one night.

Motel 6 experience

This is a decent Motel 6. Staff was friendly and efficient, the rooms clean, in parts slightly run down, but with new floors.

.. which is a good thing because they need it. I guess it was O.K. for the money but it could really use renovation - old and tired.

small room, renamed hotel!

Pros: not much!
Cons: no breakfast included at all.
Location: not too far from Monterey Aquarium and the nice area of Monterrey.
hotel difficult to find as recently changed name / ownership and name of hotel didnt match email confirmation. Room was small, telephone in room didnt work, hotel was quite run down.

Morning Starr Inn/Motel 6

It would have been nice to be notified about the name/ownership change before we left. We spent a 1/2 hour looking for the Morning Starr Inn, you, you cannot see the address coming from the north. We finally find Motel 6 and get to our room, the room is extremely musty smell and was very rundown. That was just the beginning, we had our granddaughters 3 & 1, there was.remote for the TV. It was like unloading the car and herding cats, to keep them in the room. The beds are old and hard, the safe didn't work, the promised coffee pot was no where to be found. Oh, no longer offered as for the continental breakfast, sorry no longer available. The second day of a two night stay we take our granddaughters to Dennis the Menace Park (love that place) qe get back and the lock has been changed. My 3 year old granddaughtr because we can't into the place ahe calls home. I go to the office to get me keys replaced and there is a couple with reservations check-in and only $60 a night and we paid $85 a night to add insult to injury. The worst pace I have atayed at in a very long time!

Buon soggiorno e buona posizione

Confortevole, pulito e in buona posizione; colazione non male; la struttura sta per diventare un Motel 6 (che non fornirà più la colazione) e, forse a causa dei lavori che stavano eseguendo, ho avuto qualche problema con la connessione wifi. Nel complesso, buon soggiorno.

Room clean, breakfast not so bad, good stay; it was changing to Motel 6 (with breakfast not included), so wifi had some problems.

Loud unable to sleep

The room have flooring that is very loud and echoes. Laminate I believe. I could not sleep because every time any room around us woke up it was loud. The people around us stayed up all night and the thin walls and loud floors made for a terrible night. They also made us prepay for the entire stay. Which is fine except I was told I could cancell with 24 hour notice so when I booked for four days I found out when I arrived I had to stay four days and could not change because it was so loud. Staff was nice but nothing could be done about the noise.

Dirty, old, and unkempt. Even at a decent price ($85) this is on the list of places I'd never go back. Hotel phone wad broken so I couldn't call ahead to confirm. Luckily they were nice enough to let me cancel and refund my 2nd night. I wouldn't stay here at $25/night...
