could use better lighting like brighter lights or more lights...it was hard to see once the night came....water pressure could be better and shower head. other than that it was good.

This hotel is fine. Clean and comfortable. But the wi-fi is terrible - not sure how one would do business. And I felt like I had to pull information from the staff - nothing was forthcoming. Scanning a QR code when there is no service is not helpful. The parking charge was a surprise too - but that may be on me.

The property and room was clean and attractive. The beds were comfortable. We were visiting family in Carmel Valley and the location was great - 15 minutes away from their house and away from the tourism of downtown Monterey. Also great that the hotel is pet friendly so we could bring our dog! All around great hotel - we’ll be back next time we visit.

The hotel was advertised on Expedia & on the hotels websites stating that it had a pool, hot tub & gym. This was a main factor on why we booked our rooms as this hotel. After driving 7 hours & getting there at 7PM they stated that all 3 were closed for the weekend because they were being painted. She said my only options were staying at a different hotel or they could give me a pass to the public pool. After the 7-hour drive, the last thing I wanted to do was find a new hotel with a pool. At that point we decided to just take the key so we could get the kids out of the car. We didn't go on a weekend vacation to go to a public pool, having one at the hotel that our kids could swim in after being out and about for the day is different. The hotel did not offer any new accommodations to us. I will never stay at this hotel again. Had those amenities been open, our opinion on the hotel might of been different but that was a huge hit to my kids who had to look at a pool every morning & evening that they could not swim in.

Very nice property even though it was under some construction. The staff was attentive, and the room was very clean. Would have liked a couple of chairs and a table on the balcony to enjoy the garden view. Kids and loud adults at the pool were annoying but most observed the 10pm quiet zone.

I thought Hilton hotels were supposed to be upscale. The room was updated and probably the only positive about the hotel. Way too expensive for what you’re getting. Also you can hear noise everywhere if someone is talking or just closing their room door. Not worth the money for the quality

a lot of construction trash and items around property. I know they are under construction but it was messy. Other than that it was ok, rooms were recently redone I am sure once it is all finished it will be a very nice property

Unfortunately the property is under construction and my balcony room overlooked the back parking lot which is also the construction staging area. We had zero cell service and no WiFi. When I asked the receptionist to link my Hilton Honors account to my room so I could get the points and have free access to the WiFi, she told me I couldn’t because I booked through Expedia. She was not overly pleasant about it and offered me no alternative. The underground parking fills up fast and when we left for dinner that night we came back to find the spots all taken. And with most of the outside parking taken up with construction equipment and debris, parking was a real challenge. The pool was closed. And my newly remodeled room, while nicely done, had a wiggly toilet and a sink faucet that moved around. It seems like rooms weren’t inspected thoroughly before heads were put in beds. For $400 a night I will find a place closer to town (and a cell tower).

Bathroom automatic light would not stay on, and motion could not turn it back on. Taking a shower or using the toilet in the dark is not good. Elevator would not work half the time. Nothing convenient about the vehicle parking garage.

Although under remodeling, the hotel had great service and our room was very nice. Parking was convenient and breakfast was good. We will stay here again.

The property was under construction during our stay, however, this was only mentioned after I had booked the night. The parking was limited and not included. The grounds were horribly maintained with the ongoing construction the paint and overspray were all over the facility. 4/5 entrances to the pool were closed due to painting for multiple days Main elevator was closed. Secondary elevator had cardboard duct taped to its walls with graffiti. Just an overall bad experience
