“Parking stinks!”
Parking is semi-underground and limited. We were instructed to park in a certain "color" to be in the vicinity of our room and the appropriate elevator, but no spots were ever available in that color during our 3 day stay. There is also no where to turn around if you get to the end of the structure and have failed to locate a spot. Because the rooms are directly above the structure, you get to hear cars going in and out at all hours, including people loading and unloading slamming doors at 2am. Luggage carts were not provided in the parking structure, so we had to carry all of our bags and toddler the entire "hike" to our room. For these reasons we would not stay here again.
“Will be back”
I will definately look into staying here my next trip. Family liked the everything about the hotel. Great room, great price. Very helpful front desk personnel and willing to offer advise and helpful information.
“Nice place to stay”
I had a pleasant stay here. The room was a good size, clean and tidy. I looked onto the pool, which was a lovely. There is no food rating asked for, I would rate the quality of the food poor. It is a nice walk from the hotel to the Fishermans Wharf and along to the Aquarim, easy walking and a good distance to get some exercise in after a long drive.
“Perfect Walking Distance to Monterey”
We were really happy with our choice!
“would recommend”
We stayed one night. Our only interaction with staff was at a perfunctory check-in. We used the pool and exercise room which were both nice: fire pit and cabanas at pool a nice touch.
“Nice Monterey Hotel”
This place was very nice, my room was spacious with a comfortable King bed and a large flat screen TV. 5 minutes from the airport. Extremely helpful, courteous, and friendly staff. I got a great dinner recommendation from the front desk - a local place called Fish House. Would stay here again.
“Beautiful place.”
Enjoyed this hotel. Pool was nice and warm. Room service fast and delicious. Room was clean and pretty.
“Always stay this Hilton in Monterrey”
We stayed on 3rd floor which was pretty good (no noise from up-stairs). Jacuzzi was awesome and pool was pretty heated (80s) even on the foggy day. The bed was very comfortable . The fire at the pool side was very warm and relaxing .
“Good value for the money”
We have stayed there for 2 nights. It was Ok overall and we will definitely return again when we come back to Monterey area. The location is farely close to Monterey Aquiarium, about 7 minutes drive. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet in the morning was pretty good ($14.99) with good variety of options. My daughter really enjoyed the pool. The pool area has large pool, jacuzzi, several cabanas and outdoor fireplace. Very cozy and clean. The water was warm enough to go for a swim even at 8PM. The room was quet but we had to turn off the noisy refrigerator. The room also has a microwave. The bed was nice too. In general it was safe and nice place to stay and I would recommend it to any family, particularly with young children.
“Amazing staff”
Clean property, very nice rooms with fridge, and even a microwave. About three minutes to the wharf, and right off highway 1. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. They even had a toy for our son at check-in. This will be our hotel of choice when visit again.
