Great little property close to everything in Carmel. We were able to walk to all the restaurants and shops which was convenient for us to enjoy the area and not have to always be driving. The property is small and appears to be going through some renovations. Our room was clean and comfortable. It was updated with lots of new touches, but not yet completed. Nothing that bothered or affected our stay. We also received a small basket with breakfast snacks outside our door in the morning. It was great for everything we needed for the weekend.

The location was absolutely perfect - most of the time we didn't even have a rental car, but had no trouble getting around without one. We stayed for a week so we were worried about having a smaller room with lots of luggage but our room (King suite) was huge! Most, if not all, places in town are much smaller so I highly recommend for a longer stay or folks with little kids!

The are of the hotel was great. Close to downtown with lots of shopping, art galleries and restaurants easy to walk to. The hotel was relatively easy to find and the parking was ok, just really small spaces. The front desk attendant was nice when checking us in. The room itself was clean and organized when we first walked in, however there were holes in the wall, screws sticking out of the walls in the bathroom and the phone wasn’t even hooked up or plugged in. There was a laminated paper with all the number and extensions but no functional phone. The blinds on one of the windows was also broken and basically falling off. The bed was squeaky but overall comfortable. The listing said that room service and housekeeping were both included except when brought up he said they were the same thing so just housekeeping the breakfast was ok just a small container of dry cereal, granola bar, milk and an apple and banana. Overall the people seemed nice and the area was good but I won’t be staying at this hotel again.

The room we stayed in is very outdated, the bathroom door didn’t close, the wall were patched in certain places but not painted afterwards and the carpet was filthy. The only positive was the location, it was close to the Main Street where all the shops and restaurants are.

The location is perfect for walking anywhere and everywhere in the heart of downtown Carmel. The breakfast delivered to our door was an added bonus and much appreciated. We had the King Suite and there was one tiny bathroom, no full length mirror, no closet, and the tv was outdated and small. Those are my major complaints. For the price, it is fine, but not somewhere I’d pick again.

The rooms are small and cozy. Everything was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Great location. If you need disability accessible parking, there is none. One spot is in front of the office, but you can’t utilize it, for it blocks other parking spots. Breakfast consist of a measured out cup of cereal, individual milks, a banana and an apple. Staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. The desk man was a gem of a personality.

Everything was great! Very close to all the restaurants and shops. Room was clean and the bed was comfy. They even brought us an adorable breakfast in the morning to our door! We would definitely stay here again.

Cozy lodging in Carmel
Great location with lovely, cozy rooms. Bedding is nice and comfortable. There's a microwave & fridge and breakfast is delivered to your door. Desk staff is very welcoming and helpful with things like extra towels. On the downside, only mirror is in the bathroom, so no way to see full length. When I went to use mini size hair conditioner, it was almost empty and obviously already used.

Motel room was very clean, staff was courteous and helpful. Bed was excellent. Breakfast basket is not the same as what is provided at most hotels. Price was very good.

Hotel was very nice, I would stay there again. It was convenient for us, family lived close by, and at the same time, close to the airport when it was time to leave. Full of amenities available which what we needed and why I chose to stay here.

Unfortunately my stay was unpleasant. The front desk gentleman was incredibly kind but the situation was off putting. I was traveling with a minor and when we noticed the sliding glass door was unlocked & went downstairs we were told they “made note” of it and “not to worry because no one can break in” but in this day and age, that’s not true. Especially because the side we were on had construction with giant ladders. If someone wanted to they would & it was even creepier that the room was named “spyglass” call me paranoid but as a women traveling alone with a child it felt very unsafe. The gentlemen heard my complaints and I was given a second room after he told me to give it time because he had to switch it with another persons reservation. Other wise, the room was filthy. Dirty handprints in everything, oily carpet (I don’t even want to know) & stains everywhere. The bed appeared clean thankfully & it got us through the night but I wouldn’t recommend this location.

There was no closet door and inside the closet was disgusting one of the blinds was broken and I was on street level so passers by could look directly in. The bathroom wreaked of mold. The room smelled like a urine cake. I almost slept in my car it was so disgusting. I can’t believe I was charged so much for such an unkempt hotel. Do better

The office worker was very cordial. He handed me a key to the room when we checked in. He said "this is our pass key and the only one to the room. We are getting the lock fixed. Please bring it back when you check out. We learned the lock didn't work at all and stayed open. Even when we left the room to go eat, it remained open. Anyone could have walked in. We learned this after going to eat. At night we used the bolt lock. I reported this to the office when we checked out the next morning and said no one should stay in that room until the lock works. Toilet paper fixture fell off wall, cigarette burn on toilet seat, one shade on widow blinds missing. The room itself seemed clean.

Patio door lock was broken. Front door lock was broken. Remote for TV was disgusting.

So loud, we couldn’t sleep at all so defeated the purpose of getting a place to stay for the night. Trash cans, people yelling, hotel cleaning staff, construction work going on before 8am & throughout the night
