Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was sufficient. But the faucet in the bathroom sink only had hot water. The outlets on one side of the bed did not work. Otherwise fine.

There is so much to love about this property. The room and property were clean and well kept. The shower had shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner in bottles on the wall, which were full. This isn't the case in other hotels I have been to. The gym had everything needed for a great workout. The breakfast looked amazing. There wasn't anything missing that would make for a filling breakfast. Sadly, we were unable to eat it due to our plant based diet. Every staff we encountered all had smiles and greeted us as they walked by. I can say from this experience that I will now be on the lookout for using Best Westerns from now on when available.

Absolutely perfect. Clean, quiet, in an attractive, safe area. The property, amenities and room are excellent with safe, free parking. The staff is fantastic: friendly, professional, accommodating. The complimentary breakfast options are amazing: fruit, hot/cold cereal, yogurt, eggs, bacon, waffles! And more! I was visiting family in Santa Cruz and have stayed at other places closer to the beach and boardwalk, but that area can be sketchy and the accommodations are hit or miss. It's worth it to spend the extra 10 minutes driving and maybe a few dollars more to have a great experience at this safe, lovely, first-rate hotel.

Average hotel no one was above average I ask Rick the mgr on duty for help on connecting to internet he gave me as an code on a sheet of paper that was it no help! Very disappointed with this location!

Easy check-in, clean room, staff was friendly and helpful, the bed was very comfortable. The only negatives were the toilet was very low to the ground and you could hear people talking very clearly in the hall. Other than those two issues the place was great.

Housekeeping staff are lovely
Shoutout to the housekeeping staff - they are all so friendly, patient, provide the best customer service and have all smiles (they are so much friendlier than the guys at the front desk)! This hotel has great breakfast options for being a best western. Everyday the menu is updated- super cool!

Great place with great views. I travel to San Diego weekly abd this has become my favorite hotel so far. I go for walks at night without much concern. Parking is also reasonable considering what some places charge

Highly recommend!
This was my second stay at this propert. My whole family was in Santa Cruz for a Memorial Service this weekend. The staff at this hotel could not have been more welcoming and accommodating... Even giving us adjoining rooms ( and we had not thought to request this at booking). I especially appreciate the hard flooring and all washable bedding. The rooms are quite spacious with updated, useful furnishings.

Perfect Spot
I needed a room that had some room to move around and do some work while I was there. There was a a great little coffee maker, mini fridge, and good lighting. I have stayed here before and would choose this hotel again.
