Good hotel

Posted 13-Apr-2015
Take about 8 minutes to Aquarium and Cannery Row. The double queen beds room is big, clean, and fresh. There is no Air Conditioner in the room, but it has fan and 3 big windows can open to receive the fresh air.

Good value for a nice clean room

Posted 10-Apr-2015
This best western Deanza inn has exceeded my expectations. The koi pond inside the lobby was a nice touch giving some liveliness to the lobby that other budget inn doesn't have. Overall cleanliness above average. When it comes to staying at a hotel cleanliness is my number one priority. Both the room and general public area are clean, though I won't recommend going bare feet in the room and I never do even at a four five star hotel. The bed is surprisingly comfy, more comfortable then some of the Hilton garden inn I stayed. Room and bathroom are spacious. Complementary continental breakfast is one of the best I was offered from a budget inn. There are lots of varieties to choose from, from cereal to bagels, muffins, pastries, breakfast sandwiches, yogurt and fruits, milk, juice, coffee, and water. The price isn't the cheapest considered this is an inn and location slightly away from the tourist area. It's about $160 a night which is comparable to what I paid for a room at the Grand Hyatt in Seattle, only slightly cheaper. However, for what the inn offered, its off location, the cleanliness of the room and comfort of the bed, I think the cost of the room is priced just about right. Any higher then I would recommend picking something closer to the wharf.

Comfortable Stay, 1 Freeway Exit from Aquarium

Posted 04-Apr-2015
Pleasant Check-In. Beds were comfortable, layout nice. AM breakfast, ok. 3-4 tables in corner is the extent of the eating area. Best to pick up and go to room. Mini fridge in lobby has variety of breakfast sandwiches to heat and eat. Location convenient drive to Aquarium and Wharf areas.
