“It was "OKAY"”
My husband and I are not usually the picky types of people when it comes to a great vacay. However, we were a bit dissapointed with this resort. The pictures look just wonderful but reality was not so wonderful. The resort is very large and takes a lot of walking to get to some of the beaches and food. There are NO beach bars that serve your typical "beach food" if you will. Not that that was a deal breaker, my husband I just enjoy grabbing something to eat near the beach as apposed to getting fully dressed to go back into a rest. for lunch. The beaches here are not soft sand at this resort. Its very "rocky" and pebble like sand. We paid for the upgraded room and still did not get that "perfect ocean view." Although the rooms are very large, you can see black gunk in the corners of the floors. The beds are very, very hard. Not expecting plush by any means since we travel a lot, but these have been the worst so far. The food was typical resort food. As far as staff is concerned, no one talked to us really. The pool people were very rude. They walked by while you were sleeping or sun bathing and yelled, "Who sleeps in Jamaica?! WAKE UP! WAKE UP!" They would wake you up! What business is it of thiers if we want to cat nap on OUR vacation?! They inturrupted several couples who were having nice"moments" We went to see Jamaica and did just that. Jamaica was breath-taking. We would recommend staying in the montego bay area as that is where even the locals said the best beaches were.
“Definitely Recommend”
great times - resort is awesome and very beautiful - friendly staff - deff recommend
“Amazing Hotel”
I'm from Philadelphia, this was my second time in Jamaica, but my first stay at the Grand Palladium. This trip was truly priceless!! The hotel is beautiful. The staff is friendly, beware of some of the make staff they are very flirtatious, it could become annoying. The food was good, very big hotel 5 pools, plenty of activities, and entertainment every night! I will definitely go back!!! I travel often and this was the best hotel I ever stayed in!!! The only thing is there are no elevators.. Alot of walking. But worth every penny!!!
“Watch what the put in kids cups cause they give 3 yr old kids alcohol.”
The Hotel was beautiful but the location provided you with no ability to leave the grounds without having to pay a lot of money for a taxi or a tour. The service in all of the restaurants was horrendous. The wait times to be seated for food was 1 1/2 to two hours and then another 1 1/2 hours just to get your food. In addition I asked for apple juice to be placed in my kids and our friends kid Sippie Cup and it came back with straight Tequila in it.
“cant wait to go back!”
My wife and I just got back from honeymooning in jamaiaca at the grand palladium. I must say it is by far the best resort I have ever stayed at. I couldn't have asked for better service. The staff wouldn't let us lift a finger to do anything. The food was fantastic and the views breathtaking. We will definitely be going back for our anniversary.
“Viliam”
The complex is too large and too far away from Montego Bay. No shuttle bus running to and from airport so you are forced to use taxi which is $ 60 plus tip. The beach really sucks, too many rocks in the water and water is quite dirty.... nice hotel, but it is too large and too far to walk everywhere. Nice staff and good food, but for the reasons above I would prefer other locations in Caribbean.
“We loved every single moment of our trip”
there is not much to write.it is all about good things in this island and this resort. We love everything from A to Z.
“Excellent amenities and kids friendly”
We stayed there for a week and were not even able to use all the facilities and amenities - just a lot to offer. We did enjoy nite shows, drinks, kids' activities, excursions, lessons for water sports, water sports. Though it would have been nice to have parasailing and jet-skiing. But rest all was fantastic.
“Not worth all inclusive”
Hotel is beautiful, food....Horrible !
“Fabulous Time”
This hotel was wonderful. From the time we stepped off the transportation bus we were treated like royalty. It was a party of 10 of us and we had a FABULOUS TIME.
