“ok hotel for an ok price”
its clean, not the nicest but it will do for a one or two night stay
“Not impressed”
When I arrived at the front desk, I waited about 5 minutes before anyone acknowledge myself. It seemed like no one was around until I started looking for an employee to get some kind of service.
“Ok hotel for a discount price”
This hotel is OK for the price. Room a little crampt, matresses hard. Service was acceptable. Pool was dirty and unheated. Alot of tourists (like 100) comming in on buses late at night. I would say this was an OK hotel if you can get it at a low price and you are only staying 1 night.
“Cheap, cheap. Cheap”
Smells like terrible Chinese and Mexican food. Really low class not 2 star. Like a truck stop. First room was not clean. 2nd room was ok. Never will be back. Could not wait to leave
“Not keen”
Although we didn't pay alot to stay here I wouldn't return. The room was okay but the hotel itself is fairly isolated from shopping centres and food outlets in that you require a taxi to get to any of these destinations. The menu offered in the restaurant was very limited well below and we thought it very expensive for what you got, The continental breakfast was not good and in factwwe decided it wan't worth geting upearly for.
“Felt it was good for the price.”
I had read some of the reviews about this hotel and was a little leery, however when I arrived, the room was clean and looked well maintained. There was a DJ in the lobby restaurant/bar that was very loud. I can see how this could be a problem for some of the rooms. My room was on the 5th floor so the DJ's music never bothered me. Even the 1st room floor I originally received was unaffected by the music. I changed rooms because the original room was non-smoking. The pool and workout facility both looked clean and well kept, but I did not use either. Access to the highway was quick and easy making it simple to get where I need to go. I would stay there again without any reservations about the hotel.
“I guess the star rating no longer means anything. 3 star? I don't think so!”
Having read reviews(after we booked our package),we were apprehensive about what our experience would be.Though we contemplated trying to change hotels(based on reviews),we decided we wouldn't be spending much time at the hotel anyway so we decided to not change plans. Like one of the other reviews, we too had a refrigerator, but no microwave. After waiting for 2 hours the 1st day we decided to cancel the request to avoid maintenance having to come in our room while we were away.First thing the next morning I reminded the front desk about the microwave. I was told it would be delivered during the room cleaning. We stopped in briefly about 5 hours later, still no microwave.Gave another reminder. Returned again around 8PM, you guessed it, still no microwave.At this point my wife came unglued (Lord help them).This time about 30 minutes later the microwave was delivered, but them the maintenance guy received an urgent call and had to leave before removing the old microwave and refrigerator (microwave was bolted down so we couldn't just move it over).In hindsight, it was so tiny a homeless person wouldn't have wanted it so why it was bolted down...ok I'll focus.Well after waiting 30 minutes for maintenance to return,we finally put on the do not disturb sign because we had to leave and didn't want anyone in our room while we were away.The loud music didn't bother me, but then again we were on the 4th floor.I try to always think positive, so I'll admit I've stayed at worse places.
“Not as bad as the negative review”
After I have booked the hotel and got to hear about some of the negative reviews, I was quite worry about my stay there with my wife and 3 year old. However, It is not as bad as I heard. I guess it depends on the room that you have. I stay in one that is near the ice machine, vending machine and the lift. So the noise level is slightly higher. The breakfast is not a wide variety but it is quite nice. It is complimentary. If you are not a fussy person, I guess it is alright to stay there.
“Beware of outside DJ'd parties/Not a family friendly hotel”
I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. I am not sure how they got a 3 star rating or a AAA approved. We got into our first of 3 rooms and the TV didn't work and there was no shower curtain, so they moved us. The second room, the TV was all snowy and the room smelled. The third room had nor microwave or refrigerator like we were suppose to have so they brought one up 5 hours later. They both were filthy and smelly. We left for a while and upon our return at 8:30pm, we were greeted with a LOUD DJ'd party going on in the breakfast/bar area and outside by the pool. The music was SO loud that even on the third floor we could hear it. There were MANY other guests at the lobby office complaining about the music. They did nothing about it. Again...I would NEVER stay here again nor recommend it to ANYONE!!! I did feel bad for the young lady at the desk. She was overwhelmed and sorry. The manager lied to us and was rude!!!!
“"Horrible"”
started off with poor cable reception on the tv, then cable totally shut off, had to switch rooms, then second hotel room carpet had a bad smell......rooms are not kept up, stains on sofas.......the only thing i can't complain about is the buffet breakfast, the only good thing!
