“Totally over-priced!”

This is actually not a specific hotel. Intrawest is the main developer of Mont Tremblant resort and operates nine different hotels. When you book the hotel entry called "Les Suites Tremblant by Intrawest" you effectively will end up getting a random assignment in one of their nine hotels that vary greatly in quality, comfort and location! However, given that Intrawest has the monopoly of products and services in Mont Tremblant EVERYTHING is terribly over-priced. Activities for kids in the Summer are scarce. If your kids are too young for hiking and enjoying nature trails, the only activity worthwhile paying for is the local swimming park. If you want value for money pick another resort in the Summer but consider a visit here when there's lots of snow.

“Great location”

The location is perfect as it is located at the Mont-Tremblant resort. The room was comfortable and adequately furnished. It had a microwave, refrigerator, coffee machine. The hotel provided a package of excellent coffee on a daily basis. The mattress was very uncomfortable. The management was unable to provide us with another room (or mattress) because the hotel was booked. The solution was to turn it over which helped. Supposedly all the mattresses had been replaced in the spring. This one must have been defective! The pillows were lumpy and the blankets extremely well used -- I should say worn. Over all it was fine for a short stay. It's a good place to spend a few night if your expectations are not set too high as it needs to be "refreshed."

Area recommendations

If you have a vehicle, go to the charming village of Mont-Tremblant. There are some very good restaurants which are reasonably priced. Lake Superior and Saint-Jovite also deserve a visit.

“Decent but...”

Decent hotel, but it took some time to find the actual place (Expedia does not provide enough info)! Rooms could use an update, but are good as a cottage style apartment. Great if you get a room in one of the main towers (at the base of the mountain) where we were and you can walk about the village.

Great to walk around the village. Try out the maple syrup place right in front of the hotel tower.

“Great value for location!”

I got a very good rate through expedia for the time I booked and it was well worth the money! We were right in the pedestrian village in a 1-bedroom condo with a kitchen so we didn't have to spend a lot of money on restaurants because I brought some easy meals and cooked there. The room was spacious and bright. I do have to say that it might not have been ideal for a romantic getaway because I would want somewhere more modern and "pampering", but for our family of 4 it was a great value!

Area recommendations

I think you cannot get better than to stay in the pedestrian village. There's nothing better than being within walking distance of everything!

When to go

I find you can get the best rates during the week instead of Friday/Saturday nights, so if you have a week off, book starting on a Sunday night until whenever so you can get the cheapest days.

Family-friendly activities

There are so many activities for kids! I find the best ages are 7-12, but there are definitely activities for kids of all ages, even my 1-yr old and 3-yr old! Most of the hotels have pools, but even if one doesn't there is "La Source" which has several pools with different depths. And in the village there is a mini-golf course, "eurobungy", "spiderweb", the luge, "club des aventuriers" (Sprinkler system, little pirate ship, tightrope walking, etc), the gondola up the mountain, etc. Lots and lots of stuff to do!!!

“Free stuff included”

Although the hotel definitely needs a good renovation, the friendly staff and location make up for it. Also included with our stay were the passes for the beach and the gondola to the top of tremblant - definetly a nice savings. Our room was quiet - blacony a bit small but good view,

Getting around is easy - there are shuttle buses and gondola from bottom of village to top.

“Le Loge - Tremblant”

Great location; comfortable, spacious studio room. Only problem is, when you book an Intrawest Hotel through Expedia, you don't know where you're going to be. It gets a little complicated to check-in. Once we found the place, it was great!

“Great Location on the hill”

Fabulous view - but Tremblant prices. Sunstar check in is far from the hill which makes skiing then check in more complicated.
