“Was unaware of ongoing hotel maintenance”

Unfortunately, when I booked this through Expedia I wsa not informed that the hotel restaurant, bar, and room service would all be shut down for the duration of my stay due to an intense cleaning project. The frontdesk did immediately apologize and upgraded us to a larger suite. The suite itself was quite large and very nice. Some minor problems in the room i.e; neither TV remote was working at first, the elecltric outlet in the washroom did not work, and one or two lights did not work. The staff was quick to react to any feedback we gave. One downside to moving to the larger suite was that we were stuck with a view of the parking lot rather than the lakeside view. I will definitely go back because the hotel is beautiful and from what I could see of the restaurant and bar they look spectacular. I have learned my lesson to always call in advance to verify any ongoing work at a hotel when booking online.

Area recommendations
Tremblant Park is a great place for day trips, canoeing, etc. The ski village has a ton of great hiking trails in the summer and activities for the kids. I must say that April and May are not optimal times to go. Many of the activities and whatnot are not available during that downtime of the season.
When to go
Summer, autumn or winter, avoid springtime visits. Few activities available and still very cold.
Dining
Restaurants in the ski village are quite pricey and mostly average at best. i recommend going into the heart of the old town to find some good quality places to eat.
Family-friendly activities
Any time from June through the winter there are many options for families to find things to do. My kids have a blast walking on parts of the hiking trails and riding up to the mountain top. Great place that isn't far out of Montreal where you can really get the whole family doing really fun outdoor activities.

“Wonderful mini holiday”

We spent New Year's weekend at Tremblant. The hotel was quite cosy and the staff at the front desk helpful. Our suite was comfortable and the surroundings (grounds, pool, and shuttle service to the ski hill) made the trip very enjoyable. However, meals are expensive at the hotel restaurant. There are plenty of good restaurants in the ski village that are moderately priced, The ambiance is great and the shopping ifantastic. Leave room for dessert, try the beaver tails, a big favorite on the slopes.

Area recommendations
Explore the grounds of the Mont Tremblant resort, There are great restaurants to suit every palate and budget. There are shops and art galleries that are worth visiting such as gallery Soutana - experts in aboriginal art. On the ski hills, there are private instructors for beginners whether you want to try out skying or snowboarding or guides available for snowshoing. If you want to people watch, you can just sit at the local bistro or pub and check out the local scene. Be it winter or summer, the place is magical. Surrounded by mountains and lakes, winter or summer, it is always a great place to be.
When to go
Usually best around the Xmas holidays until end of March - the snow is plentiful and there are many activities around the ski hills to enjoy.
Getting around
There is a free shuttle service from the hotel grounds to the base of the ski hill and from the parking lots to the main entrance. Bus service is well organised with frequent departures to and from the ski hills.

“skiier”

Comfortable room. Shuttle bus to ski centre did not have ski carriers, had to bring skis and equipment inside the bus. Not within walking distance of any attractions. Good lodging for the economically minded skier. Would stay there again.

“service need to be improved”

the room is not bad and is very clean but the service is not very good. it was snowing heavyly when I got to the hotel and my car was stuck in the snow in the hotel parking lot, the stuff did not provide any assistance while watching me removing all the snow by myself.

“super family friendly”

The perfect mix of romantic and family fun! Loved the sand toys for the kids at the beach, the campfire with marshmallows, the pedal-boats all provided by the hotel for family entertainment! Very good breakfast too! Friendly staff! Will go back in any season! It was a relaxing and fun vacation for us!
