I´ve went there with a couple of friends. We had a room for 3 in the ground floor. There are 3 rooms and 2 bathrooms so there shoudn´t be any problem (we went out of season and were the only guests at the time). Room was clean and nice. Place is peaceful and quiet. Bikes are available for guests to use (I took one to visit Chamonix). Breakfast is really good: cereal, milk, coffe or tea, croissant with butter or mermalade, perfect for a day of adventure. Although there is no communal kitchen, you can heat water for a tea for example and have a fridge to keep some things.

Stayed only overnight for our road trip between Italy and France but wish we had stayed longer. Very nice lodge with great restaurant fare, good breakfast buffet and decent rooms. We stayed in family room for 4 and had enough space to be comfortable. Kids loved the indoor swimming pool and game room with all the xbox games.
This is the 2nd time which we have stayed here enroute to Italy and once again we had a pleasant evening with good food and drink and a good nights sleep. Catering for my Coeliac diet was also not a problem when it came to dinner. Didn't try breakfast so can't comment.
We stayed here in a junior suite for 2 nights recently. The room was a good size with separate bathroom and separate wc plus lots of storage. Very comfortable bed and lovely view of the Bossons glacier and Mont-Blanc. My only criticism of the room is that the decor would not be to my taste (dark brown furry carpet!) and the lighting was very poor. There was a balcony but it was too small to sit on comfortably.
The hotel has a fabulous sunny terrace overlooking the swimming pool and with the same stunning view as our room. It is a lovely place to have breakfast / lunch or just while away the time with a drink.
The food is excellent although, again, the decor in the restaurant is not to my taste (sort of modern motorway cafe!). Eat on the terrace whenever possible!
The hotel is really lovely. Very new facilities and everything was exceedingly clean and modern.
The location is right next to the Aiguille du midi cable car so excellent if that what you plan to do in Chamonix.
The hotel restaurant was lovely, perhaps a little overpriced but great food.
All in all this was definitely a highlight of our 5 week trip in Europe.
Stayed there during our Easter trip in mid-April 2014 and we were in for a pleasant surprise when we checked at Résidence Pierre & Vacances La Rivière! Everything surpassed our expectations- the room cleanliness and tidiness, facilities available for us, and more! In our room for 3, there were two bunk beds and one sofa bed which were all comfy. Moreover, there was also a table for us to dine and just sit around and chit chat :) A little downside would be that wifi is not free, but it was considerably affordable :) We even had a balcony where we can enjoy the beautiful scenery, overlooking the Aiguille du Midi! Overall, we had a great time at the residence and couldn't bear to leave even! Would recommend this place to anyone :)
Oh and we recommend this pizzeria called "Paradisio Pizza" which is just a less than 5min walk from the residence! They used traditional oven to cook the pizza and it was yummy! There is a great assortment of flavours that we can choose from and they even allow us to mix and match! Price is relatively affordable too ;)
