Cheap sleep

Room was damp and musty. The carpet was nasty and the dresser and table were sticky.

Stay went great, wasn't too excited about the $10. fee per nite for the little dog...then they charged me 4 nites for the dog, and we only stayed 2

Couldn't find rooms in Monroe because of a state tennis tournament, so it was either stay in Rayville or drive another 45 miles to Vicksburg. Wish I had made the drive to Vicksburg. This hotel wasn't terrible, but it certainly was a lot worse than what I'm used to. I guess I shouldn't have waited until the last minute to book a hotel. Lesson learned!

Air conditioning was off when we entered the room, and it was ridiculously hot. My wife went to turn the ac on and the entire cover along with two decades of dust fell on the floor. We finally got the air on and it did get really cold, which was the one positive aspect of the room. The room wasn't horribly dirty, but the age of the paint, the carpet, and the fixtures made it seem so. There are other things like a missing blow dryer, and the cleaning staff busting in without knocking, but we survived.

The hotel is in need of repair. The beds are uncomfortable, the sheets were stained, the bedspread was stained. Shower cold water would not shut off and when I called, she said let it run and they would get a plumber to look at it, since they didn't have a maintenance person. Good enough for one night but not any longer than that.

Hotel staff was nice and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The area was a little out of the way but easy access to the highway on and off. Overall I'd stay again.

Pros: The bed wasn't to bad.
Cons: Completely change everything in the room.
Location: Don't need to change anything.
Room was not clean. Carpet needs to be replaced. Shower certain needs to be replaced.
