Staff is friendly and accommodating, even if they are not always present at the desk nor speak English. Air conditioning is an extra charge, but can open the windows to get some circulation. There's a nice deck with two chairs and a small table. No in-room safe. Shower is in the middle of the bathroom and only curtain, not a tub or stall, so entire bathroom can get wet if you're not careful. One block from the beach. Two blocks downhill from the train station.
We arrived in Sestri Levante around 2:00 pm. Expected to check in and take train to Cinque Terra. No one was available to help us. After waiting almost an hour we were told our room had been rented to someone else but they had a better place for us to stay 5 k away closer to the beach. We were taken 2 towns further from Cinqua Terra. Not happy. Marta the agent was nice but we were not happy at all. They gave us 100 Euro rebate but the whole experience felt like we were suckers. We booked "Italy Prestige" and got put into an apartment 2 towns away. Italy Prestige should not be on Expedia at all. Sorry.
Nice small hotel In a great position on beach,The Hotel was clean ,the staff were friendly ,efficient and spoke English,Breakfast was great with a wonderful view over the Bay,would certainly stay again.Locally there are a lot of restaurants if you fancy a change from the hotel.
