“Monte Carlo - Le Meridien Beach Plaza - Excellent”

I am unable to recommend Monaco and in particular, Le Meridien Beach Plaza, highly enough.

“Absolute value for money”

Although we went to Monte Carlo at a typically slower time, the staff at the hotel still treated us like stars and we were always greeted by smiley concierge services and desk clerks were always handy to give advice. Fabulous little added touches like turndown service with next day's forecast, and we were even upgraded to sea facing room. I definitely look forward to going back.

“Good, but expensive. Arrogant staff.”

Lovely hotel, with nice rooms. Our room was on the "road" side rather than on the sea-view side, which was a little noisy. Very expensive, both to stay and for services - eg over €50 for two pretty average club sandwiches, but that probably is the same of any hotel in Monaco. Wasn't amazed by the service - door men and bar / restaurant in particular were very arrogant!

“Not the best service”

Hotlel rooms very comfortable and beach and pool area lovely. The staff were not helpful though and could be abrupt. We went to the restaurant one night and although three members of staff passed by no one offered to seat us. We walked away and went out into Monaco to eat. If you don't want helpful staff the hotel is worth a stay
