We had booked an overnight stay here on route to an apartment we had booked in the next resort, how I wished I'd known how wonderful it would be and we would have stayed for the whole holiday. A truely wonderful hotel, with great facilities, the food was gorgeous, and so much to choice from, the staff were so helpful. The views are spectacular, I am longing to go back
went away with my girlfriend for 2 weeks. now I do loads of checks before I go away but u never really know until your arrive.
long story short it was amazing defiantly not a let down food was amazing pool beautiful location perfect stop looking at this review and BOOK IT!!!!!!
were defo going back
I live in a busy town centre so wasn't troubled by the noise but the lift is very noisy and runs constantly due to the location/layout of the apartments.
Room cleaning is sporadic, I think it is 3 times a week but they don't take into account when you arrived, so my room was cleaned within hours of my arrival (so no towels or linen needed changing) and then not cleaned for 3 days, then they came the afternoon before I was leaving to which I told them not to bother as I was checking out the next morning!
There was a big ant problem which is often a problem in self catering and not helped by the lack of cleaning.
I was however very happy with the large balcony which all the rooms had, it was private and there was room to sunbathe....which was good as the pool area was VERY noisy and slightly unwelcoming as most the guests seemed to be Spanish and weren't very friendly.
My fiancé and I booked a last minute, cheap and cheerful holiday through Expedia and were SO surprised with our hotel. Cala Blanca is amazing! The staff are so friendly and helpful and really make you feel welcome from the time you arrive right up to when you leave. Our studio apt on the 1st floor was perfect and the view from the balcony was breathtaking at times. We loved it there and will definately be returning. Thanks Guys!
Both myself and my son have walking difficulties lifts were always readily available The studios were very modern , spacious and very clean The whole hotel was spotless The staff could not of been more helpful .
The pool area was spotless pool lovely and warm and easily accessible never busy always sunbeds no need to rush out putting out towels I would go back again and have highly recommended it to family and friends Stayed at the Marina Suites last year again a great hotel but prefer the Morasol smaller and pool area is never crowded just felt friendlier had a great holiday
The hotel is one of the nicest I ever stayed in, the staff are so polite and very helpful. The views from our room were amazing, and the swimming pool was lovely. The food was very tasty and the Mojitos were out of this world!
"Quiet location, easy walk to beaches. Family of 4."
2 adults and 2 teenage girls. Our room was secluded from the main walk way with a private patio and garden with a beautiful sea view. The rooms were cleaned twice during the week and the bed linen changed once. The air con is ceiling fans, but the windows in the bedroom had metal shutters, so opening the window and closing the shutter meant air circulation was not a problem. The room was advertised as bath tub only, but a combination bath/shower tap and shower curtain was provided. There was also a hairdryer provided in the bedroom.
There is one external lift, but this will not take you directly to your floor. Steps are involved and our room had a small flight of 8 steps of its own which offered more privacy. The pool area was busy, all loungers taken at 10 am, we tended to use the pool later in the aternon from 4 pm and could find loungers available then.
The restaurant had a range of choices available and a daily specials menu of starter and main for 10€ (three choices), this included a Spanish dish which was good as finding Spanish food proved difficult in town.
Loads of water sports are offered at the beach in Puerto Rico and the sea offers great snorkeling. Both beaches are about a ten minute walk from the hotel, and the town centre is about a twenty minute walk. However a taxi cost on average 3€ (4€ with tip) so we used to walk into town and then get a taxi back. Amadores beach is very pretty and the quieter of the two.
Absolutely loved my stay here. After a long flight and journey from the airport this was a very welcoming place to stay. I entered my room and was immediately engulfed in the cool peaceful ambiance. The room was perfectly laid out with comfortable furnishings and well equipped with everything that I needed. The bed in particular was superb and gave an excellent nights sleep. I also loved the totally private balcony which had lovely views over the bay. So restful.
The hotel itself is well laid out and nestled into the hillside with all the hotel amenities only a short walk or lift ride away. The pool area, although compact, is relatively secluded with a delightful poolside bar and comfy sun terrace. I enjoyed my early morning coffee here in these peaceful surroundings. If you prefer - you can order a good value breakfast (or lunch) which will be cooked to order in the open air kitchen. The aroma is so appetizing!!
Beach and town are equidistant from the hotel. For the beach, go down the lift, past the pool and take a short walk down the road and then a short set of steps to the beach and marina. Alternatively continue along the road onto the coastal walkway to Amadores beach, ten minutes along the coast. The sand here is beautiful and with plenty of beach bars and cafes. For the town, exit the hotel at reception on the top floor and walk down the quieter road into the main town past the bus station. I cannot fault the layout, amenities or location of this hotel.
