“Modesto Hotel”

It was a decent hotel for a nights stay with easy access to the main areas of Modesto.

“Modesto Comfort Inn”

We found this hotel to be less than what we would expect from Comfort Inn reputation. While the staff was friendly and helpful, our room was not even locked when we went in for the first time, we had to ask how to properly lock the door after we did get in. The property is older and the carpets need Thc tv remote did not work well at all and we had to unplug the tv from the wall in order to turn it off when ready to go to bed. We could not turn it off otherwise. While not "terrible", this property was not "good". We'd rate this a C- property.

“A place to break up a long journey, but no nighlife”

Stopped here to break up the journey, and was very easy to find just off the highway. Surrounded by fast food restaurants on a busy road, not the greatest. A drive around in the evening to see what Modesto had to offer was massively disappointing. Everything was closed at 7pm in mid July! On returning to the hotel, the receptionist recommended what turned out to be a very good mexican restaurant a 4 min walk from there. Huge portions (my burritto was the size of a pillow) for a very good price.

“I will Return again to Comfort Inn!”

My room was on the 1st floor, windows looking out to the court yard and pool. It was clean and the AC worked well. All staff were friendly and helpfull. The bed was comfortable and I felt very safe.. The breakfast was just the best! Very reasonably priced. I will return.

“It was ok...”

I stayed at this,hotel based on the recommendation of a friend's co-worker, but it wasn't that great. I checked in on Saturday night, and didn't spend that much time in the room initially. When I returned late that night, I realized that the bathroom walls, door and door jam were filthy. Also, the carpet looked dirty and the easy chair had several rips. I figured that I wasn't going to be there that much anyway, and I got into bed to watch tv for a while. After about 15 minutes, the screen kept getting scrambled up and I had to change the channel to a different station and then back to what I was watching. This continued every 15 minutes. Before long I got frustrated and just went to sleep. The next morning, I got up and turned on the tv, and there was no sound. I tried it again that night when I returned, to no avail. I called the desk clerk and she came right up with a new remoted to see if that helped, which it didn't. Also, the alarm clock didn't work. She said at I could switch rooms, but since it was after midnight, I decided not to, but asked that she let the manager know the problems that I had had. In the morning, I spoke to the manager, and he offered me a discount on my next stay. So, I will be staying there again I guess, but I hope that I have a better time. I will say that the breakfast was good, with waffles, eggs, sausage, etc. Also, the staff was very nice.

Decent hotel in Modesto, neighborhood is not amazing, but ok.

“Soap & Towels would be Nice”

The hotel check-in was fine, nice room, but the maid forgot to put soap, shampoo and towels in our room. Went downstairs and the front desk was very sorry and gave us the above.
