“GREAT PLACE TO STAY”
We arived early and they let us chech in. Everyone was friendly, rooms were clean
“Holiday Inn Downtown - Mobile”
The Holiday Inn Mobile - Downtown is an excellent value for accommodations for Downtown Mobile. It is conveniently located to downtown to include the Federal Building. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well maintained. The staff is very helpful. All this at a very competitive price. Will stay there again!!
“Marathon madness”
We were in town for the First light Marathon. This hotel was right at the start line. It was quiet, clean and in a great location. Parking was next door at the local garage, but the cost was reasonable and we got a full 24 hours.
“Moon Pie Drop over Mobile”
We had a great stay for the Moon Pie Drop over Mobile on New Year's eve. I recommend the hotel for any downtown event.
“Nice hotel but very poor service”
Rude service at check in. Hotel staff not knowledgeable about surrounding area and can not recommend restaurants. Otherwise, the facility was clean and in a convenient location. Near major highways. Keep in mind, this is a country, good ol' boy city and be ready to be treated accordingly at the hotel.
“I will stay there again,”
The tiny little metal trays in the bathrooms attached to the sink MUST BE CHANGED. You have to put proper counter tops, or tables that people can put their toiletry bags . I asked for a table but I did not receive it.
“Downtown Mobile”
Service at the Hotel was very rude. After the concert we were informed there was only 1 restaurant open. This is a saturday night!!! We walked approx 3 blocks with young children to find that it was not a restaurant, but a bar with a heavy metal band playing. Atmosphere was totally inappropriate for young children. Did not stay to eat because music was so bad and people were really freaky. Later the next day found out there was a McDonalds and Arbys down the street the other way that the hotel failed to mention. We had to pay for a parking garage since the hotel had no parking and later found out the other guests who had to use it were given a pass.
“Extremely satisfactory experience”
The room was fine and the service was good. The air conditioner worked well, but it was a bit noisy (we did not complain). The only problem was parking. The hotel doesn't have enough parking places for each guest, so competition for parking spots was sometimes a bit intense. There is a public parking garage across the street from the hotel, but we never had to use it, so I can't comment on that aspect.
“Holiday Inn Mobile, AL”
We were driving from Georgia to Louisana; needed a place to stop along the way for a night. We found the Holiday Inn listed on Expedia; and even though the other big chain hotels were promoted more, we took a chance on the Holiday Inn. What a treat. It was like a 4 star hotel, very deluxe and new; beautiful and luxurious room. Also it was a great location. Perfect distance to local attractions. Nice staff.
“Was ok”
The room was nice, but the bathroom floor was dirty...not enough Toilet paper put in the bathroom. We never could get anyone from housekeeping to answer the phone, so we called the front desk to ask for an extra blanket..we never got it...
