Our stay at Berney/Fly Bed and Breakfast

Posted 09-Apr-2015
Pros: The historic nature of the house and the convenience to restaurants in town.
We had a great stay at this historic house in Mobile, AL. It was easy to find and close to a great restaurant, Kitchen on George, which we walked to. The proprietor, Steven, was a wonderful host at the B&B and made us feel at home. The room was very large and not too noisy, even though the B&B is located on a busy street. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful area, great place to stay!

Posted 29-Mar-2015
We were just stopping by Mobile along our west-to-east road trip and were pleasantly surprised. I always try to stay at bed and breakfasts because I enjoy the hospitality. This was no exception. Great innkeeper, great breakfast, refreshing conversations with strangers, excellent dinner suggestion of "Kitchen on George". All around great last day before driving back home to Cocoa Beach, Florida.

Stay at the Berney Fly B & B!!!

Posted 10-Mar-2015
Pros: The ambience, the decor, the staff, the breakfast...everything!
Location: So much to do and see! Steven has great tips on places to check out and must sees!
I found the Berney Fly on a whim while on Expedia and boy am I glad that I did! Such an adorable place to stop for the evening! Steven had a tremendous knowledge of the entire city! Great dinner recommendation!! Breakfast in the morning was delicious and stellar. I was only in Mobile for a night...but I will be back and I will stay at the Berney Fly!!

Nice Bed and Breakfast. Close to downtown

Posted 16-Feb-2015
Pros: The atmosphere was very relaxing.
Cons: Parking for trucks.
Location: Close to downtown Mobile, AL where you can enjoy Dauphin St or go site seeing.
This Bed and Breakfast was close to downtown Mobile, AL. After we went to the Mardi Gras parade, we were able to go the Bed and Breakfast and relax before getting ready for the Ball.

A birthday retreat.

This bed'N'breakfast was a nice location to a lot of activities. The Innkeepers were accommodating to your comfort, knowledgeable on history of the area, the current events and directions to get there. The morning meal was tasty and contained some of the local fair (served at guest convenience).

First time at a B&B in Mobile

Posted 05-Jan-2015 on Hotels.com
We have been staying in Mobile for years due to business, first time at a B&B. We greatly enjoyed it. The breakfasts were great, very good food! We had the poolside room and loved it. They are in the middle of doing some updates to the place, can't wait to see how it all turns out considering the place looks great already!

Lovely lovely home! Our host Steven was just a wealth of information about the city, and the house itself was just gorgeous. I loved the decor, and our room was large, clean, and just perfect. I will come back!

Home away from home

Posted 11-Oct-2014 on Hotels.com
The house was built in the 1800's so the charm of an old house makes it have less than perfect conditions using modern standards. ie small shower in a claw-foot tub. The service was fantastic. We were asked when we wanted to have breakfast instead of being dictated a time. Almost like being at home, and the food was very tasty. The owner had information about activities nearby and recommendations for local food.
