Pretty gross even for a cheap hotel. I saw several roaches and the bathroom door looks like it has never been wiped down. The ring in the tub makes me wonder what exactly the housekeepers are doing bc they damn sure aren't cleaning anything in the room

Pulled up to the hotel that had a flickering light, people loitering around the parking lot and stairwells, dingy exterior that did not match the pictures (ceiling above was falling down) and a general unsafe feeling overall. Started to check in then changed our minds about staying there without fearing for our lives. So we left and drove to a safe place. Contacted hotels.com and they refused to anything for me regarding my concerns except to issue a $25 coupon when I had to turn around and book another hotel. This one claims I actually stayed when I have proof I stayed elsewhere. Hotels.com is a joke. Very poor customer service and misleading pictures and information about some of their hotels. I wish I had taken pictures but was more concerned about my life at the time.

It was terrible!! Checked in and went to the room. Opened the door to the room. It smelled horrible. Toilet would not flush, vent hanging down in the restroom. It was so bad that we left and had to go pay for another room somewhere else. I would not recommend any one to stay here!!!

Dirty, disgusting place to stay
It feels like the room was not cleaned properly for a long time. Every place we touched was greasy. There was no trash can in the room and there was some trash left in the room from the prior guest. There was a coffee maker but not paper cups. They just had those white plastic cups. Even though the listing says free continental breakfast, there was no breakfast at all.

Remove this property from your offerings!
The front desk attendant recommended I not stay there. Two other parties refused to stay there while I was waiting (they had gone to check the rooms at the attendants caution)! There also was no breakfast and the pool was closed “due to COVID.” The whole area was booked with the exception of 3 properties. We checked reviews online and the majority claimed unclean, damages, bugs, mold, etc. I want a refund please! I was with my children and there was NO WAY we were going to stay there given all of the above.

The room was dorty and smelled, it didn't look like the floor had been vacuumed. The sides of the night stands were stained and there was mildew on them as well as on the walls. There was a water puddle beside the bath tub and the bathroom door had stains on it and hair sticking to it. We didn't stay, we checked out and left.

I asked the desk clerk to have the manager contact me regarding my stay No contact. The motel website advertised a rate of $ 73.62. I called once and was told the rate was $120.00 plus. I told the clerk that the website said $73.62. I was then told the motel was booked. I checked Travelocity and other sites and found they had rooms available at your motel. I booked a non-smoking king room at a fraudulent price of $103.60. The fraud is in the websites advertising your motel that are not even close to a true representation. I received room #116.The air-conditioner does not work properly. 82 degrees minimum room temperature. The room was musty, and humid. No phone in room, The door part of safety latch, missing. Frig. not working. No reading lamp on bedside table as shown in website. TV does not work properly. Wall picture was sitting on the floor. Only one very small hand towel in bathroom not like shown on website. Pool closed though advertised and pictured on website.No breakfast. Photos on your website are photo shopped and rooms appear to be of from another motel. What is advertised by your motel on your website and the travel agency websites is in no way representative of your facility. Thus I suggest you are committing by "bait and switch. Your motel gives the Baymont by Wyndham a bad name. If the manager would have called me as requested and at lease tried to make amends, I take the steps to do what I can to keep other unsuspecting travelers from getting ripped off.

This hotel ranks with the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. If it wasn’t that I had a late check in from traveling we wouldn’t have stayed. The room was horrible. No amenities at all. I will never stay at a Baymont inn again.

We ended up not even staying at this hotel, and went next door and payed the extra $200 to stay somewhere else. This place was NOT safe! There was a family living in the lobby- and the kids were running wild. A begger was on the bench outside watching us the entire time as we checked in and then followed us around to where our room was- we felt like we were going to get robbed (we had a truck bed full of beach gear) so we left. It was absolutely terrible!

This was by far the dirtiest most disgusting hotel I have ever been in. I left after about an hour and a half knowing there was no way I’d be able to sleep in the stained bed, put my feet on the floor that had ent been cleaned in months possibly years,the walls had different color smudges on them, roaches infested both rooms I looked at staying in,the lights worked sometimes, but would flicker or just not work at all.the tv in one room didn’t work. The other room had the wrong remotes and the buttons didn’t work.(aside from the power button) so all I could watch was some news channel. You couldn’t pay me to stay here. I went straight from there back to the airport and slept there and honestly I’m glad I did. Wouldn’t give me a refund for only being there for a bit too

The property is in 3rd world state of decay. Nothing works. Holes in the walls. Not the room as I booked. Had to stay in another room. Sheets and covers are all stained with black and brown spots. Plugs cut off of dryer. No breakfast. Toilet broken, bad seat. Tub disgusting, unusable with used soap in corner. Couldn’t tell if the floor was carpet or just dirt. If you have an inspector; please send them. You should never send anyone here again. I have stayed in some real flop houses in my life and this is by far the nastiest place I ever tried to sleep.

Lot's of bugs in the room. The room was dirty when I walked into it. The carpet hadn't been vacuumed. The sink faucet wasn't attached well to the sink. Bugs in the refrigerator. The bathroom door and entrance door were filthy. The place is even more run down more than it was 2 years ago and they charge more money for a room now!

Just a dirty nasty place
I am used to staying in no frills hotels. But for $80 a night. This should be a $35 night hotel. I still would not stay there for $35 a night.This place was just dirty, run down. Just nasty. The people hanging out there smoking weed and all of that period I will not stay there again. In addition to that, no breakfast due to covid. This is ridiculous. We are like 2 years past 2020. No coffee in the lobby no coffee machine in the room. Nothing but sheets on the bed, no blanket.

Horrible bug infested
The front desk staff was great but that is the only thing that was good. The conjoing door handle was not on the door, there were live cockroaches climbing the walls, there were burn marks in the bedding and on the furniture (in a "non-smoking" room), it was very evident this was previously a smoking room due to the pugnant smell, there were no pillows, no toilet paper, and an overall hazard to the consumers health and safety. I do not advise to even give this hotel a try. When requesting a refund they claimed they could not do so (I requested it less than an hour after checking in) and they refused to refund my money until Hotels.com got involved. On top of that they have a hold on my money for the next 10 business days, then claim the refund should be processed.

It was absolutely filthy. The floor had not been vacuumed and the bathroom was visibly dirty. there were no blankets on the bed only sheets on both queen beds. The air conditioner had been damaged and also visibly dirty. The desk staff said she had to keep us in front because it was not safe to put two women in the back. We went to the room and saw the conditions and left immediately. I could not believe this was a Baymont. The pictures we viewed were nothing like the room we got. I was told it was not refundable by Expedia as we booked on line but like I said it was nothing like the pictures.

This by far was the worst experience I have ever had with a hotel. The desk agent messed up our check in. I had a reservation but called ahead about early check in.Instead of charging extra for the early check in he used my reservation as if i was checking in for the previous night so I was forced to check out 6 hrs later instead of the day that i reserved it for.The room was horrible. It smelled. There was curse words and nasty things drawn on the wall. The heater did not work. There was no tv, no comforter on the bed. I went to the front desk to tell them. someone who was not the front desk person told me i had to come back at 10 am and they would change my room for the inconvenience. So I paced until 10 am bc i was too cold, uncomfortable and disgusted to sleep. i went back and told the clerk she told me i had to check out anyway bc of how they booked it wrong. She refused to offer me any assistance. Not a refund, not a phone number, not a manager, nothing. Also her kids who were obvi staying there kept coming in the lobby and she would stp srvc cstmrs 2 tlk 2 thm. Shewas rude and acted like she didnt care. call Hotels.com as instructed and was told it had to be done at the hotel in which she refused to do anything. I was not in anyway disrespectful or irrate with her even tho she dsrvd it. I wnt bck and gthrd my thngs. She clld the police! I ddnt evn raise my voice at her. Mantce gy shws up. Tll me 2 cll mngr on Mondy. She also offrd no solution. Nt evn fr th rm or srvc

This hotel was terrible. Even to sleep for a few hours before traveling on, did not meet the lowest of standards. People outside mingling. Smell. No towels. None of the lights worked. A joke in the door where the bolt goes. Toilet didn’t flush. Tape over the smoke detector. I could go on and on.

We have traveled all 50 States and Mexico and Canada, worse room we have ever stayed in, took pictures if you tell me where to send them. If other rooms were like ours they should not be in business!!!!!!!

Should not be considered as a hotel/motel
The worst property I have seen so far! I am surprised that Wyndham can have properties like this!! The room had broken curtain rods, broken washbasin tap, broken toilet seat, broken/hanging fire alarm, many non functional lights, etc. The room had damp like smell. Cockroaches were obvious to expect, infact, I noticed that one guest requested for insect spray at lobby, but hotel staff confirmed that do not have spray available. Swimming pool had greenish-yellow water (not sure if it had sewer collection or what).
