“might as well prop a tent”
this place was a dump! The only convenience it had upside of camping was the shower. At least the water was hot!
“Vevry unhelpful Manager”
The Manager was very unhelpful when we called at 9.00am to leave our suitcases in their storage. He said that everyone was checking out at 11.am and we requested a ground level room as they didn't have an lift. We are in our 70's and had four suitcases. He said that their was no ground rooms left at 9.00am and we would have to take the stairs. Very unhelpful.
“good location, good value”
We weren't expecting much, the place is in a good location, close to town, but also to the trails. The pool is very small, but good for a quick dip after a long hot day. The room was small but tidy. The breakfast was mainly make your own waffles, corn flakes, oatmeal, bagel, toast/jelly, tiny muffines and danishes (mostly stale, but when you're hungry they work). They didnt keep up w/the breakfast crowd while we were there, but if you waited, she'd refill what was out. There is no 'lobby' and no where to sit outside so if you have someone sleeping in your room, or get tired of your room, there really isnt anywhere to go, the breakfast lounge is closed at 930 or so. Definately a 3 star hotel, staff was pretty friendly and check in/out was quick and easy.
“Great hotel, great value!”
I enjoyed my stay. I like the location, the price and the general qualities of the room. The pool was nice, the hot tub was clean and warm and the room was in great condition too. Nice beds, clean, etc...
“Provided exactly what I needed”
I came to Moab to attend part of the music festival and then go on a canoeing trip. I did not have a car and needed to go into town to get some supplies. The Days Inn was within convenient walking distance of where I needed to go in Moab, and was right next door to my outfitter! I was pleasantly surprised by the continental breakfast available. I met some fellow travellers there as well as getting a decent breakfast.
“Won't ever go back”
This place smelled horrible. I wanted a new set of towels and they gave me ONE towel. They did not have a command of the English language. And did I mention... it sincerely smelled in there?
“Pew”
The hotel does not live up to well done. For the price paid you get a nice room but crappy pool, kids diving into the Jacuzzi and dismal surroundings. Continental breakfasts were taken back to our room because we had no where else to eat it.
“Try the Best Western Greenwell instead...”
I've stayed now at several different hotels/motels in the Moab area, and so far this one is at the bottom of the list. Scratchy sheets that didn't appear to have been changed since the last guests, really dumpy lobby with no internet, and a tiny pool that didn't seem well maintained (I didn't go in). On the positive side, it's on the north end of town, so one of the closest hotels to Arches, and removed enough from the center of town that you don't hear traffic noise all night. Also just a short walk from the Moab Rock Shop, which was a plus for my kid.
“not my chioce”
This is a low cost hotel and you can not expect too much.
“Would not stay there again”
The hotel was not as described. We have stayed at Days Inns in other towns before but I would not recommend it. It was close to Arches, however, so that made it beneficial for our hiking purposes but there are plenty of other nice hotels in Moab that I will now stay at when we return to visit the area again in the future. Not a good place to stay at if you are a light sleeper as the water pipes are quite noisy and the "flushing" and running of other room showers can wake you up in the middle of the night or early in the morning. Also, plan on eating your breakfast elsewhere as the "free" continental breakfast was quite undesirable.
