“slide”

We came for the pool - was nice, but I wish the stairs to the slide were cleaner and the whole thing could use a good paint job. was nitce to have lifeguards...water could be warmer and room cooler. Overall a good area. Breakfast was great and the ladies monitoring it were very friendly and helpful.

“Very Nice Hotel”

This is a newer hotel conveniently located off the interstate. There is a Walmart with a Subway and a Culvers restaurant within walking distance. The hotel breakfast area is spacious and the breakfast is excellent with several choices including hot items like scrambled eggs, bacon, and pancakes. We had a room next to the elevator and I was worried there would be a lot of noise, but it was actually very quiet. The pool is a little small but it does have a big slide for the kids. We would definitely stay here again.

“Good Travel Experience in Mitchel, SD”

We drove from Minneapolis to Mitchel, SD and stayed here for 1 night. We continued the next morning, after a good breakfast, which was included in our price, to the Badlands and Black Hills, in SD. We stayed for a couple of days in Custor National Park and returned for 1 night to this hotel on our way back to see friends in Minneapolis. Our over all experience is excellent and we will recommend this hotel to all our friends. By the way - this was already a recommendation from our friends in Minneapolis. Monika and Peter

In Mitchel, SD, you have to visit the Corn Palace. This is a very unique building, consisting only of natural material, i.e. corn cobs, grass, straw, etc.

We've stayed here on many occasions, close to food options and Walmart, Cabella's etc... Always welcomed and no hassels.

“Happy in Mitchell”

Outstanding hotel in this price class. Holiday Inn Express has really raised the bar with its newest properties, if this one is an example. The pillow top beds are great, and the bathrooms are as nice as many hotels that cost twice as much. Service and breakfast were excellent. Deskperson called the room a couple hours after we checked in to see if all was well. As you may have guessed, I said yes, definitely!
