“Wouldn't go back”
NO Bravo channel on tv so I wouldn't go back. Also hotel was dark. Couldn't open bathroom door whole way, stopped directly in front of toilet...awkward. Also, downtown Minneapolis was shabby, not chic.
“A relaxing stay”
We enjoyed our stay in room 703. Nicely appointed with a relaxing decor - this corner room is a comfortable size. The bathroom was the only thing that could have been improved upon. The large door really cuts apart the small but pretty bathroom, so you need to close the door to have enough space to use it comfortably. Also, the water for the shower took a LONG TIME to heat up! We learned to plan ahead...
“Beautiful Restaurant/Lobby”
The public spaces of the hotel are very nice - well designed and sophisticated. The room looked nice, but had no exterior windows. It only had a window looking out at a very dark courtyard. It felt dungeon like. Other than that it was very nice.
“Just what I expected..”
Loved the hotel, it was beautiful! Great location, within walking distance of target center and the bars... the only thing I was not crazy about was the look of the room when we came in. It looked like someone had just thrown the sheets on the bed and left. It did not looked like a polished put together room. Overall it was great though..staff was wonderful..I will be going back!
“"Could live here"”
Impressive room and hotel. Very convenient to everything downtown. Close to thr LTL system. Would definatly go back. Great shower!
“The Westin is the Best-in town”
Booked through Expedia, no trouble with room, checked in immediately upon arrival. Staff was friendly and helpful when we asked about places to visit & eat. Also: -Beautiful hotel. The bank theme was very cool -Super comfortable king sized bed -Perfect location downtown, near bars, restaurants, stadium Would definitely stay there again!
“Very Friendly Staff”
Would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown. We were attending a Twins game and the staff was very helpful with directions and everything else we needed to know.
“Best hotel in downtown Minneapolis”
The Westin is the best hotel in in downtown Minneapolis. Comfortable rooms. Great restaurant - The Bank. Excellent bar for after dinner drinks.
“Service could use some work”
The Good: Location is great Cool bar/food area - a nice place to hang out for awhile The Bad: Booked a double bed room and they were "out" when we checked in. We managed to get a king room with a sofa bed. But.. by the time we asked for sheets, blankets, and pillows for the sofa bed (which weren't in the room?), they were out but gave us about 10 fitted sheets. Nothing was offered to us for our inconvience. I asked for complimentary drinks and she said "absolutely, charge it to the room and I'll take care of it," only to find we were charged for the drinks. So, I had to go to the front desk to get it taken off.
“Stay somewhere else”
Like the other Westin in Minneapolis, the room doors slam very loudly at all times of the night.
