“Nice new hotel on edge of downtown”

Stayed here with a group of 10 couples for the U2 show. Great service, valet's were prompt, courteous and helpful. Had apps at the restaurant. Nice boutique rooms, very comfortable and clean!

“Marvelous! Marvelous! My family had the best time. Perfect customer service, great room.”

From the minute we checked in, we were taken care of beautifully. Every need met, all questions answered, and anticipated. The price was very reasonable, and the extra fees totally reasonable. The room was lovely, very art deco, bed and pillows, all towels very plush and comfortable. The staff was really amazing and so accommodating. We had a great stay.

Family-friendly activities

Close to Target Field, we saw a Twins game. Close to all downtown entertainment.

“Stylish and comfortable hotel”

Wifi in the room cost absurdly much, but in the lobby there were several computers with good internet access available free for 30 minute sessions. Had a very pleasant seating area in the lobby where you could buy wine by the glass with a card obtainable from the front desk. My only complaint was that the easy chair in my room seemed to need vacuuming. At any rate, when I sat in it my allergies started playing up. My son was fine, though.

Area recommendations

We visited Minneapolis for a concert, but the Minneapolis Institute of Art was excellent. Interesting, wide-ranging collection of artifacts, very well presented.

“Excellent stay!!”

Such a good experience at the hotel!! Will definitely stay again. Excellent service!! Everyone went out of there way to make sure I was happy. Great location!! Super close to the monorail. Only one small inconvience....the elevators were really slow. Other than that, perfect stay!!!

“I don't like duvet-only bedding”

I'm still struggling with the duvet-only bedding concept used in this hotel. Looks luxurious and initially feels comfortable. But with the lack of room temp and ventilation controls, I spend the whole night getting too hot, then kicking off the duvet, then freezing and pulling it back on, over and over. The duvet is so thick and hot, that only partial covering works and that feels funny. Usually results in a terrible sleep. They should have an extra sheet plus the duvet to give better balance to your sleep comfort.

“Beautiful Hotel! Service was bad.”

Hotel was beautiful. There was free valet parking and driving and finding the hotel was a breeze. We also had free access to breakfast both mornings that we were there. Great hotel for a great price but the service was not what we expected. Receptionists at the front desk were not friendly and not very helpful. We asked for a list of attractions and they didn't help at all. The server we had in the morning at hotel restraunt, MAX, was great but the one we had late at night was rude. Valet parking was very friendly. Besides that one server and valet parking, the service was very bad, they could definately improve. Our room was nice, except the heater was very noisy, shower head was not the greatest, and some of the T.V. channels had no sound.

“Wonderful, but no hot tub.”

The hotel was beautiful. The bed was too comfortable. The bathroom was enormous. Everything was lovely, except there was no pool or hot tub. What a bummer.

“cant wait to go back. was a great place to stay”

valet service was very friendly, and helpful with offering directions. check in was very quick. room was very clean. and comfortable. breakfast was delish. we will be staying again. close enough to downtown nightlife and fun activities.

“Nice hotel, great downtown location...just make sure they know what is in your package”

Cool hotel in great downtown location. However, need to make sure you get what you pay for - our package included free valet parking and access to concierge level for breakfast and they initially were going to charge for parking and still didn't tell us about the breakfast until I went back down to the front desk and showed them my receipt. Room was nice, but look into office building next door so was kind of dark even during the day.
