“Charming Hotel”
The service was outstanding from check-in staff to food and drink. The heated underground parking is a big plus in Minnesota.
“its ok”
The only unfortunate mishap was offering valet parking when the price we paid thru expedia included breakfast, waterpark, and free parking we had no idea where to park and we were told by valet parking that was the only option. the hotel tried to make amends by reducing the 28 dollar valet tab to 14 but really we should have not paid for it at all. otherwise everything was ok
“Nice stay”
Hotel is located in a very convenient spot in downtown Minneapolis close to Guthrie Center where my conference was held. I parked my car in the adjacent lot and walked everywhere.
“This place is DA BOMB!”
The staff, front desk, and bar and restaurant workers could NOT have made my stay any better. They were amazing and very helpful with any and all requests. I plan to return again MOST DEFINITELY and I have told all of my clients and friends as well to visit this FINE city and stay at this wonderful hotel. Thank you so much for everything. A very pleased client
“Beauty, Luxury and Comfort”
The decor of this train-depot-turned-hotel is just beautiful. They spared no expense in rennovating it. The dresser tops and sinks in the room were granite, and towels and bedding were of great quality. I was impressed to see they had Aveda brand toiletries in the room. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Loved the valet parking feature. Very easy to find right off of I-35. Will definately be visiting again.
“Very nice, but didn't have a smooth visit.”
I think this hotel is beautiful! But, unfortunately we didn't get the room we booked, the waterpark was closed (had to find out from the waitress), and I had to go down at the end of the night and have them swipe my card that they should of done when I checked in. I know things happen, but that was alot of items that were not impressive.
“a place to stay”
Overall, a clean hotel with friendly staff. Little things bothered me though. One of the phones didn't work. The television picture was poor, even though I really rent a room to watch tv. The towels were low grade, and the 3rd day, cleaning removed the bar of soap from the shower, but didn't replace it.
“Mpls Depot Hotel a real Renaissance”
The hotel registration and sign in was super with very efficient and friendly desk personnel! The hotel is a historic landmark in Mpls as the former Milwaukee Road railroad depot. Close to downtown restaurants, the Missippi River, light rail transportation and Mn Twins Target Field. Very nice architecture and interesting historical displays.
“Great Stay!”
Super friendly staff, comfy beds and great hotel!
“A nice touch of history (railroads)”
Hotel room was A OK, however; a couple of extra towels would have helped along with some kleenex type tissues on or around the desk. The kleenex tissue on the sink ran out the first couple of hours.
