“Good business traveler's hotel in Downtown MN.”
This is a solid hotel for downtown Minneapolis, within walking distance of the outdoor mall and a nice restaurant (The Bank!). The hotel restaurant is also above par and served a nice NY steak (actually gets cooked at the upstairs restaurant and brought down the elevator) plus decent wines by the glass. The bar in the restaurant is small but functional with a few television screens in various corners of the restaurant. Parking is a minor hassle, but once you learn where the hotel elevators are, spaces are plentiful in the shared garage. I forgot the ticket a couple of times, and even though the hotel issues a separate charge ticket, the booth attendant asks for the ticket you get from the machine when you enter the garage, so it took a few minute for him to figure out how to open the gate to let me out; plus had to deal with his attitude for forgetting the ticket in the first place. Internet and cell phone access was a little spotty, but acceptable.
Overall, a pretty good place to stay when in town on business.

Go to The Bank - unique restaurant that used to be an actual bank; now part of the Westin, just around the corner from the Crowne Plaza. Great food and atmosphere with a major bar in the center of the restaurant. Great wine list. Would go again.
