“But for one thing.......”

This hotel has a location that was just what we needed to go to a football game. We were able to keep our car parked in the garage for the duration of the game at a price of $15 which I don't think is too bad. I gave the surrounding neighborhood a 3 because there isn't a whole lot of eating establishments close by unless you want sushi. Now if you're up for walking, there are good places to eat within 7 blocks. We really like the layout of the rooms and the hotel feels very modern but the beds I think are pretty hard, too firm. Getting up in the night to use the bathroom took a little getting used to as there is a sliding door that is mirrored, kind of freaked me out the first time I came around the corner. Would I stay here again? Probably. It is close to the Metrodome and has parking.

“Love this place”

I have never stayed in a hotel with more helpful and friendly staff. Rooms are lovely, and so clean. The surrounding neighbourhood is terrific for walks, eating out, culture, etc.

Area recommendations

Uptown for restaurants, Walker Art Centre, Mill City district for walks and city history, Lake of the Isles for city walks, can't wait to visit the new ball park downtown

“Great Location, Friendly Service, and a Toddler's Dream Bed”

We stayed at the Aloft Minneapolis for four nights over the July 4th weekend. It was a great experience. They provided a Cars-themed bed for our 2.5 year-old which she just loved. The rooms were clean and well-appointed. You can't beat the location near the Guthrie and it's convenient to the light rail. We'll definitely be back.

Check out Uptown, Minnehaha Park and Lake Calhoun.

“Great little hotel in the mill district”

“Love this hotel!! Very modern”

This was my favorite hotel so far. Beautiful. Modern. Great view. Amazing room. Very reasonable price. Overall very pleased.

The tram takes you right to the mall of America. No need to rent a car. It's a block away from the Mississippi river

“Great value, awesome stay.”

The only thing that was frustrating is the quality of the coffee in the room, and that there was not enough for even two people. The really bad coffee quality though, wow. Perfect location, awesome atmosphere in the hotel. Smart decor, helpful staff, nice and clean, and great beds. We will stay here every trip to Minneapolis.
