Third time staying there, first time on the train side. If you are a light sleeper, be sure to ask for non train track facing windows. Otherwise this is the perfect hotel to stay in when you want to be to downtown in a hotel with a lively night scene.
We live in Milwaukee area but were having a parent's get-away weekend, this hotel fit the bill perfectly!
Everything about the hotel was wonderful. The staff was friendly and helpful - gave tips and information on what and where to eat, to find shops, etc. The room was very clean and comfortable. We completely enjoyed our weekend here. It is perfect for couples - not a place for families to take children. The entire hotel has an old world feel which is wonderful and relaxing.
The entire town of Cedarburg was really refreshing. Everyone was helpful and courteous. We will definitely go back once this winter finally breaks!
The mansion was a wonderful artifact full of lovely antiques. The proprieters were friendly and good natured and they cooked an outstanding breakfast! I would recomend this place to a friend. Ignore anyone's comments that it is in a "bad area." People just fear any sort of ethnic diversity.
First of all, this is the type of place I never would of thought we could afford. It is ornate, beautiful, elegant, etc. It is historic without being "old". We stayed in the newer Grand Tower so didn't get a chance to see the rooms in the traditional Pfister but we did walk the halls. I recommend you walk the halls of the hotel and you will feel like you are in an art museum! The art that lines the halls and walls is stunning. We had a good time just looking around.
We stayed in a double queen room which was spacious enough for 3 people. Nice accommodations, check out the hotel's pictures and you won't be disappointed.
Parking in the hotel is spendy at $30 a day but it is in and out. You can park on the street for a few hours during the day but overnight we parked in a parking garage kiddy corner from the hotel for $15 a night.
The pool is nice if not a tad bit chilly.
"Interesting and beautiful B&B in West Bend Wisconsin"
Isadora's Bed & Breakfast was a great experience for someone somewhat new to the Bed and Breakfast experience. This property is a wonderfuly restored Victorian home that is a antique lovers delight. A very interesting collection of all types of antique items are tastefully displayed through out the grand home.
The owners were friendly and provided excellent breakfasts in the formal dining room.
What a treat away from the usual hotel routine.
Two night business stay. Nice to have two bedrooms for privacy. Enjoyed staying in a non chaing hotel. Good eateries within walking distance. A little noisy being right on the street but would stay here again.

"Beautiful, safe neighbourhood, right at the water"
The classic charm of"old money" resonates at this hotel. The architectural details of the entire neighbourhood are a feast for the eyes. A short walk brings you to the waterfront, where there are tons of things to do. Go down Franklin, and find Wolski's Tavern for a pint of beer and warm, friendly atmosphere. What a fantastic stay! I wish we didn't have to go back home!
The hotel itself was very clean and well appointed, although it definitely gives off a "haunted" vibe. The staff were courteous and helpful, rates were reasonable and parking is close. Overall, nothing bad to say!
